But Terrorsaur's height didn't change when he powered up in Power Surge. You see it clearly when his charge runs out and he stays the exact same size:

    (1:18 in this video)

EDIT: Also happens immediately at the beginning of this one:

He definitely did get larger, even if not in that shot. Despite being CG the creators weren't completely consistent when it comes to scaling things in the show. Hell, here's a shot where Blackarachnia, Waspinator, Scorponok and Terrorsaur are all about the same size (There is perspective at play of course, but Blackarachnia for example should be pretty tiny all the way in the back)

Honestly, it's lived up to it for me. Of all the beasts I've gotten, the only one I was mildly let down by was Blackarachnia.
I feel we're getting some of the best beast modes in years. While some do have more sacrifices made than others (Such as Airazor), they more than make up for it with a robot mode that, after 20 years, finally resembles the on screen characters (While they're not 1:1, they capture what I'm looking for).

Or maybe I just have low standards. I dunno.

I have not seen a single leaker say Tarantulas would be a Blackarachnia remold. Everyone who's mentioned him coming has said he's a new mold.

Honestly, I feel the same. I've absolutely loved all of the beasts from kingdom (though I could take or leave the fossilizers personally).

It's all subjective. It exceeded my expectations. It's been yaers since I first wanted some sort of return of a toyline containing organic, preferably realistic beasts that transform. Kingdom delivered and also gave not only show characters but also characters that were only toys, they are all repaints but still it's great to get those guys. Maybe someday we will get Cybershark.

Hopefully they pull-off a Ravage with the retool and make Terrorsaur taller than Airazor.

But he didn't. His size is pretty consistent throughout the ep. He never appears noticeably larger anywhere else.

But I could just as easily say that Terrorsaur was shrunk for that shot, rather than BA and Waspinator being enlarged.

Exactomundo. Terrorsaur was Tigatron's height, as those scale charts show.

    I gotcha covered. ;)

TT did a pretty decent job keeping the scales in line between the season 1 characters and the adaptations in the kingdom line based on the more consistent source material. However the animators did like to fudge the models when it was required to frame shots. For those that haven't visited this thread lots of brilliant work was done here go give it a gander.

Nah, I think the toys have been good too.

A vast number of G1 characters had to be done and redone multiple times before finally getting Generations figures that delivered well on engineering and likeness, meanwhile, it feels like all Beast Wars characters more or less hit it well from the get go in the Kingdom line. I definitely think that the new Primal and Dinobot and Airrazor and Scorponok are better shots at those characters than I would call the old Generations Ironhide and Galvatron and co.

Okay just found out this guy was revealed.

So, looking like he's Cheetor except with most of the obnoxious flaws removed. Won't even need to buy another 3rd party gut gun.

On one hand, awesome for Tigatron. On the other hand...makes Cheetor sting even more now.

At least Cheetor is much more likely to get another mold eventually, hopefully third time's the charm. Tigatron needed this win more since he's not always guaranteed to get his own mold.

this, kingdom is doing for BW what old-CHUG should've done when it started with mostly-faithful robot modes and updated, realistic alt modes. seeing people complain about G1 designs being done "again" but ignoring that we also had a 'perfectly good' dinobot and cheetor in CHUG by those standards is dumb.

As someone who generally loathes scalism, I hope Hasbro releases an official chart that is just different enough to piss the most obsessed fans off.

Huh. At the risk of starting another Galvatron debate... I just noticed Tigatron's shoulders are swapped. The detailing on them is mirrored the wrong way. Doesn't really bother me because it's only noticeable if pointed out and compared to screenshots though. I would never have noticed if he wasn't standing right next to Cheetor who does have them the right way around.

As long as we get them soon then that's fine, but I'm mostly waiting on them to be revealed before deciding to get all the Predacons.

Scale is not as much of an issue for me and I can always have the Deluxe for the beast form and a voyager for the robot form and think along the lines of mass shifting.

Actually this is the third time for regular BW cheetor.
There was a version back during universe.
That doesn't include the cyberverse ones.
Or the transmetal 1 or 2 versions.
Maybe you'll get lucky on the 10th try.

I, personally, happen to like both of these versions
    Kingdom & Netflix.
Tigatron takes a good cheetor and sends it into orbit.
    Can't wait!

Yeah, I like this guy. He's a bit more 'oversized Cheetor' than I'd like (just in the sense of how the Kingdom figure was constructed than being 'oversized Cheetor'), but I have to admit they did a great job beefing him up. I wish his beast mode front legs were a bit thicker, but other than that he looks terrific. Height is where I want him, style is there...yeah, I'm looking forward to getting him.
