FINALLY, one of these people who actually lives in the same country I do! :v If I ever get a Galvatron to go with my Cyclonus and Scourge I'll make sure to hit you up, I guess.
It's been a while, but I have been busy behind the scenes. Since Selects G is now out in Canada I should give a quick update. I've made secondary faces and some adjustments for the screws that finally came in (they were smaller than I had pictured). Purple is stoic and smirk. The eyes have been altered to be less angled. Let me know what you think when I show it. The Wild head has gnashed teeth and a smiling face. and the other comic head has angry open mouth and angry gnashed teeth. The heads are nice and firm, held together well by the screws. I might make one or two refinements, as the new faces for the purple are a tad wider, which makes face swapping difficult. I've also been experimenting with pigments and mixing resin colours, getting my formulas for the heads and faces and doing tests. I'll still need a sample before I can finalise the scheme for the Selects head, so it's all experimentation at this stage. I have photos of the head tucked for each, as well as full body shots. But they'll have to wait a bit as I'm at work (on break).
I would be totally down for just the one purple head! That looks amazing. If you do any other sculpt work for other WFC figures (Earthrise Megatron and Kingdom Cyclonus with cartoon heads) I'd love to see that too.
These look amazing and there are so many heads in the Kingdom and SS86 line that desperately need improved face sculpts. My personal wishlist is for Cyclonus, Rodimus, Blurr, and Kup to get fixes. Please keep us updated on whether or not they can be purchased from you or purchasing the STLs for our own printing. Your Furman Galvatron head reminds me so much of the one comic I had as a kid:

OK, first off, changes. After a chat with @neurowing I've come up with a new design for the purple head/faces. It's closer in likeness to the most common expression with less angular eyes an a more furrowed brow. I've also reduced the chin on the face a bit which makes painting it a bit harder, but it looks less like a goatee. Let me know what you think. BTW, the new heads are coloured resin, with a quick pass of the airbrush, as I ran out of pink pigment when testing. You may notice one horn (on your left) is shorter than the other. The tip broke when it was in my pocket, which emphasizes how important it is to pack this right as resin doesn't have the best tenacity. I doubt the horns would survive a drop test unbroken. The alt-face is a smirk. This photo has intact horns. The screws and ball socket hold well for all heads. They each passed the wiggle test. Each fold away so that the main body closes securely
Hmm, the mouth looks a liiiittle too wide and pouty for the cartoon one. Eyes might be a touch too small too compared to some anime screenshots but then again I could be an idiot so... :v Other than those minor quibbles it looks pretty damn nice! The smirk is absolutely excellent.
Anything in particular? I'm flat out marking papers currently, so I don't have much in the way of free time, which means I'm unlikely to do any design work for the next while. Well I did make a couple of SS86 Kup heads at the start of the year. I haven't printed and painted any in resin yet, though.
Do you also have one with the frown circled on the first page? My first reaction was, that I liked the more angled eyes more, comparing it to Screenshots it seems, that less angled is indeed more accurate. But I see now why you're afraid of postal services. Did not realize the material was so fragile. I now remember what the mouth reminds me off I like the frowning mouth more
Just to be clear, the circled head is the stock head. But I still have the previous design. Perhaps lighting is an issue with these photos, as the red in the eyes isn't showing, which makes them seem a bit beady. Well, my pocket manages to smash phones and key-rings at times, but yeah, I wouldn't want the heads rattling around a package as the horns are particularly thin at the tips.
