Shapeways charges $10 flat USD for shipping now so $12.50 isn't bad at all if you're able to match the plastic colors. Making the file available would also be good but I think I'd personally buy the Shapeways option because I've found my Elegoo Mars to be extremely unreliable for functioning parts because of the warping.

Yeah I'm certainly willing to pay a fair amount to compensate you for your time and materials once we have the Selects figure in hand and you have the chance to color match. That comic sculpt looks phenomenal.

I'd like the files to be made available for download and printing for ourselves to a site like Thingiverse.

That's fair enough, don't want to overwork yourself only for people to turn it down because of the shipping. However, with sites like Shapeways and Thingiverse do you think you'd be able to make the files available for people to print themselves?

Really love these, personal lly I'd prefer you make the files available since I do have a resin printer, but I'd probably still buy a

It looks at this stage that there's a fairly even split between international post and publishing the files. I think what I'll do is offer both, but add some exclusive alt-faces for those paying postage. I realise having a printer and consumables is a larger upfront cost, but I'd like to 'value add' for those paying more for the heads.

I'm still waiting on deliveries (resin, pigment and screws). Things are a bit slow interstate currently in Aus, due to the pandemic, (clearly those in lockdown have greater needs, so no complaints). I'll keep you updated as things progress.

That's great news and both options sound fine (I'd be willing to spend on the shipping but I may be able to get a print locally, which would simplify things a lot). And very cool idea with the bonus faces!

Well, if you can handle a spray can and put a couple of dobs of paint over the eye insert, then you should have no problems with these. I'd advise masking teeth on the comic heads, but since you're going purple there's nothing to worry about.

Awesome, I'll need to work out my expenses, then I'll have some prices up.

That sucks to hear. I'm assuming you've checked all you can? The reason I bought my printers was to avoid Shapeways' international postage. Glad to hear it's better locally.

Yep, I'll put them up on Cults3D once they're finalised and properly tested.

I thought so too, until I tried. First the paint did not stick everywhere. When it finally did, the paint was too thick and drowned out all the awesome details.

Has anyone put the old TR Renderform head on Kingdom Galvatron yet? Just curious how it would look since the figures are the same size.

I have both heads but not the kingdom Galvatron yet. I think Pulse is processing my order tho. So if I remember I will take a few crappy pix and post them somewhere. But honestly I don’t have much issue with the Kingdom head, & feel it looks better than the Renderform toon head-RF has sunken eyes due to the face swapping ability

Seeing how we are also now getting upgrades for his hooves err feet, I'm curious what about the heads? :D

With both upgrades I would like to obtain Galvatron and then upgrade him :D

These are, as everyone else said, absolutely incredible.

What are the odds that you'd be willing to partner with another outfit for printing and distro internationally, ala the JRC Design/Robots '78 situation?

I am drooling over that Time Wars head!!

    Thoughts on your thoughts:

    - even in the US, getting it domestic, Shapeways shipping is... a lot. At least 10$. For roughly 13$ US, that's not much of a difference. But it is more wear & tear on your printer. Any chance you could get an affiliate Shapeways shop?
    - I think you can probably ship them without 6mm screws as most of us with a junker pile can locate them.
