Just got the heads. Some fit issues with the hands (too loose, might need some floor polish) but otherwise they look really good. Review is up:

Thanks for sharing that man. I appreciate you taking the time for detailed feedback. I find the best way to insert the faces in is to angle them downward and in, but I've not had to work around a camera doing so. :)
I'm sorry your hands were loose. You're right, they were intended to be painted like the purple ones. I've been putting some glue on the base, but I might have missed that pair. Send me a PM if you want me to sort them out for you.

Haha yeah, it's problematic doing things in front of the camera LOL.

I totally understand about the wrists. It's a very easy fix anyway. :)

Just got mine today. They are awesome. The paintwork is great. They really complete the figure and make it feel like the Marvel character. Absolutely incredible stuff. 11/10.

Poor UM always cops it. I can't help but enjoy seeing it though.

I'm really happy to see orders starting to reach people safely. I feel like my parcel of boxes took longer to arrive! Thanks man, I'm glad you enjoy it. Always makes me happy to see.

On another note. My air compressor stopped working. It was the power switch. I did a bodge job and taped the wires together. Fortunately, I didn't become a Darwin Awards candidate and the compressor is running again.

One comment I just noticed now. The Wildman heads need a bit of tweaking. While the smiling face is fine, there seems to be some clearance issues on the chins of the other two faces. Turning them to the left (his left, our right) makes the head look up. I might shave a bit off of mine just because I love the yelling face the best.

Hey man. I'm not entirely sure I follow what the issue is, but it may be a case of over-tightening the screw. The head holds the ball joint, but the faces act with it a bit like a vice does. I've allowed for extra tightening in case of wear to the ball or cup over time, but it doesn't need to be turned all the way, just enough to ensure the face stands in place. Too much friction might be pushing the head up.

The open mouth yelling face clearly has a greater height, if that's what you mean, but not enough to force him to look up.

Hey @The Madness Are you planning to do a redesign similar to this for Commander Rodimus to make it more accurate? Namely to make it more look like these frames? He just needs a bit more space above his eyes to look really good.

Got my pair yesterday. Looks absolutely amazing, love it. The head is a little loose which is fine and easy to fix, but I’m not really sure about the hands, they go onto the wrists but they seem like they’re too small to go all the way on, I don’t really want to force them so are they too brittle to use a tool to scrape the insides out a little, or would it be better to just sand down the pegs?

Great to hear you got it safely and I'm glad you enjoy it! As much as I appreciate you handling the fists with care, and they aren't as robust as ABS or nylon, they probably aren't as delicate as you think. Just twist them side to side as you slowly guide them in to place, knowing that you're only a couple of states away and that I have your back should the worst happen.

For the head, try turning the figure onto it's back with your hand cupped under the head and give it a tap to see if the screw has bitten to the face or not. Sometimes it's easier to fix the face and screw loosely before putting the head on. While there may be slight variances in the ball joints, as I get a snug fit without the face or screw, I get a pretty tight fit after winding the screw.

There are some other projects in the pipeline and this is a candidate. It may not be the first in line, though. :)

You should also make a new neck to pop over the existing ball joint.

Ok so i printed out another version of the head in a different orientation cause the first one lost the detail on top of the top spike. I like this one much more. Itll obviously look better when its painted but for now im pretty pleased.

Edit: Im gonna try one more pass on the heads. Ive combined the faces and helmet together so ill just have three swappable heads on my next run. I think theyll feel much more solid and i wont have to find screws if they work out

For Galvatron? I'd love to give him better proportions with a longer neck and larger head, but the transformation constraints are just too tight.

Hey man! Great to see you taking initiative as well as optimising the prints. I was all set to merge the face and head for you, but then I wondered about what that would do to the ball cup and knew I'd need some time to figure out the best way to do it. I just haven't had a moment yet. Seems like you found a way!
