Kingdom Rodimus Prime Chromed Hubcaps

    Has anyone chromed the hubcaps on Kingdom Rodimus Prime? I want to see what it looks like before I do it. I don't want to make him look naff.

    Unless you have the proper equipment for this, it will look naff. I am yet to see a home / diy painted chrome effect look decent. It would need clip-on caps or separate rim & rubber tyre to stand a chance of looking ok

    However, I too am curious now.

    I was going to do it with chrome paint pens. Makes the Datsun triplets look better (especially Smokescreen with those awful blue clips poking through), but Rodi is a bit more expensive and doesn't look bad with the wheels all black.

    Molotow chrome markers are great the trick is you have to let it cure (no touching whatsoever) for at least a month. I used them on this Cobra Commander figure... it looked perfect then, but handling him since without the cure time has left the chrome foggy
