It was in the system as discontinued since last year. That was even before the site had stock.

Like Target, WG/DR has a system where each figure has a stock number (WIC) and the assortment has one too. When they order, they used the assortment WIC. RA was supposed to come in as part of that assortment. For some reason, RA always had shown as discontinued despite the asst. being available, and stores were supposed to get him in that stock, but it seemed not to have happened in most places, and the online stock was mostly all that was available.

Now, all my local WG/DRs have taken TFs off their planogram (floor plan) which screams to me the Hasbro partnership has ended, yet I still see some GI Joe's at some stores, so I don't know if it's permanent or if those are being cleared out too.

I'm surprised Red Alert is back in stock. Walgreens may have found more in their warehouse.

 

Maybe the ol'"Supply Chain Issues" and they're just now getting a second allotment. I was able to order Friday and did ship to store to the WG by my work and it got there yesterday... haven't picked it up yet, hopefully it's actually Red Alert and not Fossilizer overstock like the rest of the stores around me still have.

I got mine couple days ago. Weird that he’s back in stock, and at the new price at that. Still, quite a nice deco IMHO and happy to get him.

Yup, saw the post in the Minerva thread and ordered her this morning. I guess once Metalhawk is released, there won't be any more Masterforce characters on the horizon.

 

I hope that's not the case, since we still need Hosehead, Nightbeat, Go-Shooter, Joyride, Getaway, and Slapdash to have the Autobot Headmaster Jr.'s and Powermasters.

 

Oh, there's a lot of characters we still need from Masterforce. I was glad to hear in the livestream that Evan is a fan. Hopefully he'll keep pushing those characters in wherever he's able.
