Rattrap isn’t for me, but if he’s a marker for the quality of the Core class, I am very excited to pick up some fun deskbots for fiddling with.

G1 Core class Optimus and Megatron are gonna be tiny. I hope Megatron gets to be a gun again as that actually might make him useful in the hands of a voyager Starscream.

Maybe Hasbro's paying him to do this...

Apollux (our primary Kingdom leaker) has seen Core Optimus, Megatron, and Starscream, and confirmed that they're actual G1 designs (with Megatron being a tank).

I'm gonna be that guy, and say that the word you were looking for might have been "confluent" (flowing together), over "congruent" (fitting together). But point stands.

The fact that we haven't had legends in the first two parts of the trilogy probably has something to do with it.

I'm now imagining Rattrap with Bruce Campbell's voice instead of Scott McNeil.

I have crashed several times already.
Pretty sure that was Marvel Legends that was removing ball joints. This Rattrap looks great, no clue what you thought we were gonna get in a Legends Class-size Hasbro figure.

While there's obviously no objective, quantifiable proof of this, Takara has been using Generations Rhinox and Rattrap to complete the BW MP displays. Not to mention, the fact that those to haven't come out yet is rather suspect, in my honest opinion...

Knowing Hasbro he probably won't be. But you can always hope for a "Spaceship" mode.

Interesting, they brought back ball joints, I mean they never left but they got less common in siege and earthrise

I think a big reason for that is that ball-jointed limbs are less capable of bearing the weight imposed by the Weaponizer gimmick.

If that's the case than what will be kingdoms gimmick? Will it just be some beast wars characters as the gimmick to get fans more interested?

Bone armor and probably melee weapons in the form of Fossilizers!

I actually hope they leave the ports off the Beast Wars figures. At least the Deluxes. If they're going for realistic beat modes having ports on them would ruin the effect. At least depending on where they're located. Maybe Scorponok's ports can be inside his claws for example.
