I’m told we should all aspire to be like you, and I agree.
These threads are exhausting sometimes (maybe even most times). Can we pretend we won't know how he looks next to Cheetor until we see Cheetor? Or, that when the figure doesn't match your headcanon reimagining desire, it's not a slight on the figure?
they never did anything like that. legends was simply discontinued in favour of micromasters. now they're back and the micromasters are gone. there were no legends figures labelled as deluxes.
Core = Legends size.
We already know that's not the case....
Nah, they just made Deluxes the size of Legends.
Also, I'm joking folks, figured I'd better state that before the hate begins.
Went back to look at the listings and saw Rattrap listed as core figure, thought it was listed as a deluxe, oops.
Core is the new legends then, I guess. And for a legends class price this guy is fine as it is.
why you guys liking this so much this is emberassing
I'm honestly kind of excited for this size of figure. The old Legends figures are a lot of fun.
This isn't news! I saw one of these scurry away from my machine when I started it this morning
I really like this. The realistic take on the beast mode designs are something I actually prefer. Plus, I don't mind it it being a Legends size figure. It's perfect for show accurate scaling.
For the price point this figure is in, I think they did well.
Only really nitpick would be the large feet in rat mode. I guess its the price / realism compromise to get the figure made in the end.
and in motion.
Ah. Rattrap. I like the look! I want more. Show me.
Why you gotta laugh at me like that Rodimus : (
For personal reasons I wanna see this little guy next to a Wheeljack. I think them being buddies would be amusing because I often picture Jackie having a Brooklyn accent and Rattrap having a Bronx one. Hearing them argue would be greatly amusing to me. xD
Eet's a leetle rayt!
Looks like a pretty nifty little figure, his rat ears don't completely obscure his head in robot mode either! I'm liking what the realistic beast mode means for the rest of the Kingdom Beast Wars guys as well.
Seems the right size for baby rats in traditional chinese medicine.
Something something something “play ecosystem”
Something something something “Geewun”
This rattrap looks really cool, It\'s nice to see the legends scale return again. I\'m wondering if this is the final paint scheme or if it\'s still a prototype. It\'s a shame there\'s no blast ports on the figure or at least that I can see.
Can someone explain to me why this is the way it is though? Look at his front view! Look how far out his backend sticks. The wide hips!
As far as I can tell, that isn't needed for robot mode. It just more kibble that ends up on his back. It's not like they needed to widen teh backplate, they have it sitting on the back facing out, so it really doesn't matter how wide it is. His robot legs aren't that far apart. So what is it? Why is the back so wide? Rats don't look that way. I'm not seeing any justification for it. It's just baffling to me.
I like this figure in basically every way EXCEPT this. The other oddities are forgiveable. The larger back foot is forgiveable to me. It's just throwing me off.
