I give in, I was happy with POTP Inferno due to the custom chest and other detail work I did on that figure, but I love Earthrise Grapple and this figure has won me over so this figure is high on my pick up list. I do wish his ladder and ears were white though but not a deal breaker. I also look forward to the rumoured Artfire also.

I do hope that the upgrade gap filler kit for Grapple gets tweaked for Inferno as that upgrade kit pushed Grapple to be one of my favourite Earthrise figures.

 

They still havent fixed the peg issues? Man, that sucks, I really was hoping they would at this point. I guess I got to be really careful with mine when I get one

Why the gray parts?

 

Gonna put him on my pre-beast wars shelf as pre-beast wars inferno from Dawn of the Predacus story.

Inferno was active until the very end of the Great War. When Transmatter began raining down on Cybertron (the result of a Tripredacus Council plot foiled by happenstance) some of it struck Inferno, putting him in a quantum-state of proto-cybermatter. The War ended shortly thereafter, and Inferno's body was stored in a stasis pod. Prowl hoped to restore Inferno to his former self once the means to do so presented themselves.

 

I guess I don't hate this mold as much as others do because I never bothered transforming Grapple. So I'm still looking forward to Inferno.

 

Despite not being a fire ant he still looks pretty good.

 

Looks great other than all those grey parts should be white. It would look even better if they were.

Yeah, right. Maybe the Beast Inferno can be released after the War for Cybertron trilogy...

 

Real shame they went with grey plastic instead of white.

 

It was a shame that Universe was maroon instead of red. Grey doesn’t bother me so much, he’s got his head wings.

 

Tons of fun. His build quality isn't the best, but he's probably my favorite Earthrise voyager.

It really isn't a issue after you clip the tabs.
Transformed my Grapple multiple times. Just clip the tabs and be slow and careful when you remove them from the ports and you'll be fine.

 

I'm pretty sure that plot point was almost universally hated.

 

If it had a Marvel head/face I would bite. Artfire will probably turn out very nice, though.

 

Can't wait to have him.

 

Looks perfect. I love the Grapple mold and this looks equally awesome.
