Every single one of these look fantastic! Core Starscream is WAY better than I was expecting. Megatron is a lot nicer than Optimus as well.

Inferno looks fantastic! Still hoping for the BW guy but this one will look so good next to Red. Huffer is utterly fantastic and Ractonite is really fun.

Digging how Ractonite is looking. He's pretty jangly in many areas but given that he's a fossilizer that's pretty on point. :D  Really hope to preorder himas soon as possible. Huffer really does look cool I gotta say as someone who's not that into him.

Duh, no shit it's a point of view thing.
I'm not expecting Hasbro to stop G1 any time soon, that's the issue. The fact I should "Be glad we are even getting BW" is the issue

NEED that Huffer! I love what they did to sorta make it like a pickup truck.

I'll keep my Henkei Inferno, but ER's version looks good!

    Pass on the rest.

Here we go, indeed. I'm mostly looking forward to Huffer, and they did him exactly how I would imagine, including being able to pull Prime's trailer. I am so damn glad I didn't touch that CW toy. It was okay at the time, but if I had it, I would've been trying to sell it by now, lol. If you ask me, the Minibots are coming back with an iron fist.

Re-releasing that Arcce is a damn joke! Inferno is a win but those Core figures so far are a waste. Beside Bugbite, I don't make buying mini-Deluxe figures a habit but Huffer might be the only Mini-deluxe acceptation next year. Well him and if they make a decent Crankcase out of a new gears and/or Ruckus retool out of Beachcomber (new or the recent Legends one).

    I agree 100%.

They're likely excuse will be that she'll fit in with Cyclonus and the other upcoming Season 3 figure via the SS86 line.

Huffer looks awesome, and hopefully after pipes this means that we’ll eventually get my favorite minibot Brawn in this line, or the SS 86 series. Inferno looks really good too, especially the head sculpt, and will definitely be preordered alongside Huffer (x2).

    Your wave, eh?

I'm guessing a pure BW wave wouldn't be as successful. Even if there are enough BW characters to fill the wave (maybe there are? I don't know...), it's unlikely sales would be as high without G1 to carry it. Like it or not, G1 sells, and it has the advantage of being almost infinitely revivable. G1 gets reinvented with updated vehicle alt-modes, then a few years later they'll throw them back out with better-engineered classic designs. Hell, consider how many ER characters are purchased, immediately following the release of their Siege versions! G1 doesn't die, and it has a mature fan base that's willing to shell out for just about every iteration that comes along.

BW, on the other hand, is a bit static, and the fanbase a bit more niche. I'm admittedly a biased G1 fan, and even I can't deny the excellent story writing in Beast Wars. However, there's a cringeyness to the design and dialogue that in my opinion warrants a full-on reboot instead of a re-visit. It's not as adaptable as the G1 concept, and it doesn't bridge as well to new fans, in my opinion.

I'm not collecting the WFC toys (well, it looks like I may make exception with Huffer), so I really don't have a dog in this fight. I was looking at Kingdom thinking, "hey, a bone thrown to the BW guys... cool". At least there's representation of some sort-- not something that can be said for fans of other TF series.

Whelp, I was trying to stick to the beasts + Galvatron when it comes to Kingdom. But I just might have to get Huffer. Though, I'll wait to see if Pipes looks better first.

Also, minimegs looks spectacular, Might make me collect all the core class g1 guys at this rate lol.

    I mean
Starscream is just a boring blocky legends Starscream
Megatron looks like a KO with extra paint
(Also these two and that shitty Optimus probably only exist as addons for that Ark figure)
The bone dude has really shitty arms, I like the concept of these bone figs but in execution they've been pretty shit
Huffer is whatever, bad design to begin with
    Inferno is also just whatever

It would seem Hasbro has taken notice of the huge interest in the unlicensed legends market.

So weird to see people deciding between Huffer and Pipes, rather than just buying both. How can you separate them?

Nifty little G1 Megs. Huffer has some unexpected flare to him that actually makes his design sort of... cool? Guess I’ll be going for both him and Pipes after all.
