This kind of cool equipment integration in alt mode is very cool and is really making me think to get him. I'm very selective with WFC but aside from the Fossilizers Huffer looks to be another must-have!

 

I am not feeling the core seeker mold.... it looks unfinished. I wonder if any of the 3rd party legends figures will fit inside the ARK... hmmm

 

My  :

Core Class:
I'm 100% skipping Starscream. He just looks really unappealing to me. Might skip Megs too, since he's just as unappealing to me and I can't justify buying him simply for the gun alone

Deluxe Class:
Arcee is an easy pass. Huffer and Airazor really exceeded my expectations with how good they look. Will be picking them up as well as Ractonite, who I think looks a hell of a lot cooler than Paleotrex.

Voyager Class:
These two will be bought on sight. Dinobot looks excellent and I'm willing to forgive any kibble issues the raptor mode might have, especially when the bot mode looks so nice. Those dino-mode arms though... it's like Deadpool's hands after he punched Colossus. What a strange design choice. I returned my Grapple after I had purchased him. I didn't hate him, but I don't have the same attachment to him that I do with Inferno and that just made the molds flaws stand out that much more to me. Also, I just think Inferno is more awesome looking in general.

Leader Class:
I'm gonna have to wait for reviews and in-hand images for this one. I don't hate the design, but I'm not 100% certain about him

 

Personally, Ractonite having "No Real Hands" Syndrome doesn't really phase me. Seriously, I have seen other Transformers without hands and people like them. Like G1 Toy Fasttrack. I don't care as long as he looks cool, and that he does. He/She/It has that medieval skeleton king vibe.

Looks like there's a possibility that Ractonite's bot head may not be removable.

I see that the horns on the Styracosaurus head are not separated in this image.

 

FYI this is pretty much a real-life version of the original concept image used to convince Hasbro senior leadership to greenlight the Fossilizer play-pattern.

 

I never like the looks on the core figures
ehh, I guess I shouldn\'t be that hard on them. It\'s harder to hide kibble when you are working with smaller bots

Hey, I just realized that the 2 Fossilizers revealed so far have different color schemes. Paleotrex has a more yellowed-bone appearance, while Ractonite is a lot more black and white.
Meanwhile, I just looked back into Killer Punch via the Transformers Wiki and I have detected numerous similarities between him and Ractonite. First, the tail is "held" in Ractonite's left "hand". This equates to the fact that Killer Punch held his weapon with part of the tail in his left hand. Ractonite's left arm also holds basically the hindquarters of the Styracosaurus mold, like how Killer Punch's Beast Wars Neo toy managed its kibble. Meanwhile, the image with Huffer modelling the weapon form of Ractonite shows the T-Rex head as a shield on the Left arm similar to how that old Killer Punch could wield part of his Styracosaurus head as a shield. Meanwhile, look at the stuff at the back of the armored up Huffer Mode. Those pieces made of the horns and legs of Ractonite look like missiles, which is reminiscent of how 2 of Killer Punch's Dino legs became blasters. The Headsculpts are similar as well. Those are all of the similarities between the two Styracosaurus Transformers. Isn't that interesting?

 

there's only 5 Core figures seen (that I know of) I'd say it's a mixxed bag of good, bad & "what are they planning for that"

I'm starting to think kingdom should have a set or two of near micromaster figures without the combined gun gimmick (bumblebee & cliffjumper could be one set)

Airazor seems a pretty obvious pre-tool for Silverbolt. Peg Prowl into the holes on her back, wrap the wings around, fold the beast head down as we’ve already seen in the promo shots.



No guarantee that it will actually see release, but the opportunity is there.

 

Good to know

 

Any official Magnaboss is going to have a very tough time topping Grimlockimus' sublime custom Magnaboss.
