Core Starscream’s jet mode looks like those inflatable balloon jets I used to see back in the day

Unfortunately not. As pretty as this Huffer is, the backs of the legs appear to be hollow. I'm happy to pay for a well-done short deluxe, but leaving the backs of the legs open disqualifies it from being well-done. Not happy about this. Where did the budget go, that damned silly shield thing?

Hugger looks very nice, though it’s definitely the Beast characters that are the main appeal of this line for me.

    Maybe I was too subtle.

You're right, it's not G1. So why is there an expectation for G1 characters to appear at all? Your entitlement is amazing.

...you know those are just the product description they use for all stores, right? Where they're still primarily being sold as children's toys? They don't write special text for the solicits sent to fansites.

When I see the small tank it reminds me how much I'd love a new Guzzle. Although he was literally a brick, he was one of my favorite toys as a kid. I just love his design. And he's one of the few exceptions where I want a toy accurate design and not the idw design. I would even just buy a G1 reissue, if that were an option ^^

Their wording neglects to mention the CW Seekers in Legends form...

I commend Hasbro's commitment to mistransforming Ultra Magnus' crotch.

I really hope Hasbro sticks with Core Class for a while, it could become the new DOTM Cyberverse. (I know Siege and Kingdom Micromasters were kinda that already, but they didn’t make enough baseformers) I’d love to see an Air Warrior repaint of Starscream for troop building.

They would scale better to display with the Titan Class Ark playset, than a bunch of Deluxes and Voyagers would.

    Ractonite is rad af.
Probably one of my new favorite toys when it's released.

Yeah, the more I look at that Magnus, the angrier I get. Not only did they completely waste the cost spend of pointless new tooling parts for his truck mode sides,
but despite putting that kind of investment in the legs, they're still all white from the front??? o_O
They literally could have just not bothered remolding at all, and used the paint to paint the fronts of his shins like they are on the SIEGE toy,
and I think most people (self included) would be happier than with this "actual product". What BS.

I had zero interest in ER Megatron, so that was neither here nor there to me, but I was half serious about getting an earth mode Magnus to be more of a
ready-to-play desk toy than the MP is, and I am pretty bummed about this. Could've used a new gun, red chest windows... the list of poor product spec
decisions here is very long indeed...

Hope this Inferno brings us one step closer to a Gen Selects Hauler... but knowing how "basic" the Hasbro team is in their line of thinking, I'm sure we'll get Artfire first.

Hasbro put a lot into this Huffer. He can be his own vehicle or work with Prime. I sure hope Huffer can fit inside the trailer as well as he can pull it.

Mm, true. It's especially interesting when they make a particularly specific reference in a description, like Kingdom Cyclonus' mentioning he was reformatted from "Bombshell/Skywarp/both/neither", mixed in with the typical marketing-y stuff.
