I see Deluxe Wheeljack in wave 3, is that going to be a repackaged figure?

If that's what you enjoy, I absolutely think that's fair.

It's weird, for something like Star Wars I want my toys and my display to be fairly screen-accurate. I wouldn't really have any interest in a Darth Vader toy that puts him in a new outfit or something, unless it reflected something specific from existing fiction. I never even liked extra gimmick accessories included with Star Wars figures. But for Transformers, I prefer new interpretations and have little interest in seeing existing designs revisited.

It would be nice to have two concurrent Transformer lines...one for recreations of existing designs and another for new takes. Obviously screen-accurate designs sell and are popular with fans, so I would never expect Hasbro to stop doing those. But it would be nice to start seeing more new takes again too.

I mean, you seem to be fairly certain that nothing outside of G1 will be coming out in the lines following Kingdom so you must be able to tell the future somehow

Haven't seen any figs of cybertronian Predacons (but you are right, that would be awesome) , but I do remember a third party making cybertronian Dinobots although I think they were in legends scale

I've always been a big fan of Huffer. His constant bitching, negativity, and nagging is so amusing to me! Makes for a great contrast to all the Autobots blind optimism. Also Gears as well! :D

Really? Cause I think he's probably one of the most generic and boring designs in the whole franchise, but maybe that's just me. Don't really like how the whole cab just kinda sits there over his head.

There's no such thing as "spots." Didn't we learn that lesson when people begged Hasbro to stop doing repaints and those "spots" went to repacks instead?

We would've had our tease by now if not for COVID throwing off convention plans. So at this point we likely don't see anything official until maybe February.

Leaks, though, could come at anytime. They absolutely did not intend to throw up that massive piece of group concept art that included the Ark. So who knows when something else could leak out.

Huh, I didn\'t expect Huffer of all figures to interest me the most in this lineup. That said, anyone think that mini Megatron would make great custom material? Just not sure who or what. Guzzle, maybe?

Look I won't pretend to know how the process of who is and isn't in a toyline works, but I'm just saying, who really asked for this when there are other characters we've been clamoring for?

I will say for the record that I am super happy for people who are excited by this, I'm not usually one to complain about toys being made since I know everything has its audience, and IMO the more happy fans the better.

Looks like Huffer scales well with the MP figures. Great stand-in until the MP version shows up (if ever).

So that's leader Ultra Magnus, voyagers Dinobot and Inferno, Deluxes Ractonite, Arcee and Airrazor, and cores Huffer megaphone and starscream.
Is there another deluxe we didn't see yet?
Would be nice, but with Kingdom and SS it's gonna be an expensive year anyway eve if I don't get the characters with horrible face sculpts.

That's pretty rich when Prime and especially Animated were G1 with a new flavor.

    Hahahahahah.

It's because there is only one Darth Vader.

But there have been *many* interpretations of the various Transformers characters over the years. So when there's so many versions out there you'll naturally get tired of seeing the same few styles over and over again.

Why do you think people are so excited about the Fossilizers. They're just so out there and different from anything we've ever seen from Transformers before.

I hope Huffer is a more CliffJumper size deluxe. I don't really want one as tall as say... Ironhide or even Prowl...

So, anybody want to crank out a digibash of Inferno as Artfire?

    (& Huffer as Puffer?)

The only designs there that were g1 with new flavour were optimus, bumblebee and I suppose you could also include Starscream

    The rest were unique

And besides, they still looked more different than cyberverse does, with the benefit that they actually looked good

Back when I was a kid and poor, the G1 minibots were a lot of fun. And yeah, his "whininess" gets played up, but check out his G1 bio:

Huffer is cynical, hard-boiled, and pessimistic. "He looks at the world through sludge-colored wind-shields." Will complain it can't be built, then builds it anyway. Not too sociable, but absolutely reliable. Arm sensors can test materials for strength, heat, resistance, elasticity, etc. Extremely strong. Superior mathematical and geometrical abilities. Often unhappy and homesick for Cybertron.

Sounded pretty awesome to 5-6 yro me. And his 2021 toy mashes all the right buttons.
