Can confirm I found one in Ohio today, and the shoulders are assembled correctly.

 

So basically my default state of being.

 

I’ve been thinking. Is it “fixed” or just random assembly problems? I don’t have him yet, so correct me if I’m wrong. but I’m guessing the shoulder assembly issue is that the socket piece is “higher” one way versus the other, causing the arm to be higher if flipped.
I’ve found toys before that were assembled correctly and incorrectly in the same case. Or I find some of my old toys were misassembled for years. Sometimes when they assemble toys they assume parts are “universal/symmetrical/centered” and don’t realize that -even tho they may be marked L or R- that there’s also an Up and Down, and Front and Back…

So as far as I can tell, even on the "incorrect" version you can rotate the shoulders up so they are "backwards" but at the correct height --- all it shows is the silver pin cap.emgo showed this in his video.

This change, if accurate, is welcome, but I'm unsure it was that big of a deal anyway?

 

You can do that, but then the treads don’t peg into the shoulder as intended.

That definitely helps. Still have mixed feelings on him, although I definitely will pick one up.

Well, given the fact that it seems I won’t be getting my order from BBTS anytime soon, hopefully by the time they get to me I’ll get the corrected version.

 

Boy it's a real good thing I don't mind the pins facing the front or I'd be pissed about my early BBTS copy
