Found Galvatron at Walmart; all three had fixed shoulders.
I doubt it, I just got my Galvatron a couple hours ago. Low shoulders.
That sucks. Are you going to return him? When did you place your order?
I ordered mine on June 26, so just wondering.
Trying to keep hope alive, lol.
Nope, I'll be keeping him. I don't mind the exposed pins.
I placed the order on the very first day Galvatron was available for preorder back in April.
Don't lose hope.
I did see on a sighting thread that someone did get the fixed shoulders from Amazon.
Your best bet is still the 50/50 crapshoot at Target or Walmart.
With any luck, your hope will win the day.
Mine just came from Amazon today, incorrect shoulders.
My Target order came in. Are these shoulders correct?
When did you put your Amazon order in for Galvatron?
guys, Amazon normally placed order with distributor months before the release date and whatever order you have with them, it is ALL the batch with wrong shoulder.
I saw that too and only 1 guy said he got correct shoulder from Amazon order but he is not able to show photos or anything. Maybe just another troublemaker.
Bummer. Amazon just shipped mine today, should have it on Wednesday.
I'm going to return it immediately if the shoulders are incorrect.
Knowing my skills, I'll end up damaging the figure trying to fix it.
If I can get in a pre-order for the G1 toy deco variant this week I'll consider it a win.
if any are in these voyager drought spots, check my thread for one with correct shoulders
Amazon delivered my Galvatron yesterday. I’m not too concerned with the misassembled shoulders. I just rotated them. I did however repaint the face.
I’m still waiting on Kingdom Galvatron. I haven’t seen him at my local Walmart or Target. I have one preorder July 15th from Target and one from Amazon for September 8th.
Hasbro basically got back to me on my case and said this:
"It has come to our attention that fans have noticed that select "Transformers: Generations War for Cybertron: Kingdom Leader Class WFC-K28 Galvatron" figures have an alternate shoulder position when in robot mode. We constructed the figure in a different manner, but the build still allows Galvatron to function properly as intended.
Thank you for your understanding."
So basically in a nutshell they said: "It still can transform w/o an issue right? Based on what we've seen you can correct our mistake by flipping the shoulders. So go screw."
I am going to fix their F up myself, I guess. Way to go Hasbro. Way to go.
What else did you expect? There's nothing wrong with the figure, it is still fully functional. It's not like he was missing the arm or the figure was assembled in such a way that it was unusable.
Agree to some extent, but this is something that should’ve been caught regardless. So no they shouldn’t be expected to replace misassembled copies, but this is an issue that shouldn’t have occurred in the first place on this large a scale.
I expect a competently assembled product. That's what I expect. Not excuses. That's like if an employee made a mistake on assembling something and the customer called in complaining of the issue. I guarantee the boss would not be happy with the employee, and they would have them correct the issues ASAP. You pull this kind of crap on a job site, you'll be getting a pink slip really quick! My message is about PRINCIPAL. Seems this generation doesn't know what that means.
