So, some more comparisons, using my crappy bash, since Phamduc said it was fairly accurate, (and another I just did of the close up image.)





Honestly, for a CHUG figure, this is more than close enough for me personally. There's always room for improvement, but I don't look to Generations for perfect G1 accuracy anyway. (Even MPs struggle to hit that mark sometimes.)

I do hope from top down angles he has more of a "necklace" (the lines around his clavicle area) like he did in the cartoon, as to me that's a big part of his look. I also wish his "belt buckle" was larger and painted. And yes, proportions are a bit off. But again, it's a CHUG figure homaging the cartoon, not aiming for perfect cartoon accuracy. This isn't even a Studio Series figure, it's a Kingdom toy. Considering that, it's actually remarkably accurate IMO.

Which isn't to say people can't criticize it, of course. Just speaking strictly for myself.

The necklace gtey area is very prominent! Aleays reminder that this photo with lots of you keep refering was taken at looking up angle. There are more things from up there that this angle doesnt cover.

 

Excellent, that's what I was hoping.   Even if not though, honestly, it's more than close enough for me. The thing still has to be able to transform, after all lol.

Nope. That is finished. Im not bummed by lack of red belt center since most other details are all checked.

 

The complaints in this thread are insane to me. If G1 Galvatron isn't your thing, that's fine, but I just can't imagine liking G1 Galvatron and thinking that the Universe and TR figures look better. Even as shown, Open and Play Big Cannon looks worse than this.

I'm glad you're here to reinforce this upcoming figure's awesome factor.

 

Everyone has their own mind to decide which is better aesthetically and I dont care much , but to blatantly outright calling shit on this figure and refuse all the improvement in engineering throughout the years making is what tick me off with this fandom.
And this is one of the most generous hobby. You will have to easily pay $100 more for a figure like this galvatron if it is made by Sentinel or such , at same size and complexity! Transformers fans have the most luxurious experience but muh g1 figure better.
Collectors here try to sell away the Universe and TR galvatron right after news of Kingdom galvatron and leaked images are out. The TR mold shines at Super Megatron , thats that.

 

Thats cool. I think it looks perfect so far. Battle damage doesn't phase me (except siege soundwave on his tape deck). It's nothing just to add a spot of Red paint for the buckle

 

A piece of red reflector tape from Home Depot can fix that square in the belt if people are that fussed about it.

 

Looking at those first 2 pics of G1 Megs and Galvatron really truly makes me appreciate Kingdom Galvatron.

I will say this the G1 Galvatron is still light years better than TR Galvatron.

 

And I'm sure Toyhax will have something, too.

 

The battle damage reminds me of the season 3 plasma pit

 

While I like TR Galvatron, the Kingdom Galvatron is way better. Kingdom Galvatron is less hollow, looks bigger, and more imposing.

 

I really like this Galvatron. I’ll def be purchasing.
BTW I didn’t look through 86 pages of comments, so my bad if this has been mentioned..... but did anyone notice that Galvatron’s gun looks like The Revenge spaceship from TFTM?

 

Yes, has been mentioned by leakers previously. It can also combine into a railgun thing.
