Ahhhhhh...2D dynamic animation how I miss thee.
That REAAALLY sucks, because I need both NOW!
Don't know if it means anything but the original Instagram post has been taken down and it looks like that account has been deleted.
Strategy is for cowards!
Is pop the nosebleed version of poop?
Edit: sheesh I'm a moron. Was going for "me make funny" and ended up with "reading comprehension fail."
galvatron definitely looks good. Doesnt look like he has the joint to put his feet flat on the ground, though. Why do his guns look like his ship from the Movie
I hope this is the same size as the Earthrise Megatron.
If it wasn’t for the complete garbage headmaster gimmick they imposed on it, I’d probably be happy with it enough to ignore this one.
Wow, wasn't expecting a reveal so quickly! Late to the party again, but I think the core robot looks fantastic and will really go well mano-e-mano against Rodimus Prime. The guns are neat, and I appreciate that they scale with Haslab Unicron.
Not really a fan of the battle damage, but it's guaranteed Hasbro will repaint this mold enough times to suit everyone's tastes. How many repaints has Siege Megatron gotten now...4, 5? I guarantee we'll see a Netflix version with maybe metallic purple and no battle damage or something.
I really don't see how Hasbro is going to be able to top the WFC line going forward. I can't think of anyway they can make a more definitive mainline. Maybe this means they will create a new original story with new characters, and this is the big G1 sendoff? Anyway, bring on the Ark!
Hmm good point. Maybe depending on how well the Beast Wars figures sell, the next toy line will have a bigger Beast Wars focus.
The Unicron Trilogy is reportedly next. And there are still characters in desperate need of an upgrade! Motor master is the first to come to mind
theyve already said combiners arnt planned to be revisited anytime soon
For me, I'd put both toy trilogies on that list (CW/TR/POTP and S/E/K) for hard to top. For all six lines, they really gave us some gems and bots we either haven't had in ages or never gotten a new toy of (tho' obviously WFC nails this more by far).
Nearly all of G1 is covered. Heck, we even got Six-shot and Overlord (but frustratingly missing Raiden). Maybe move on to Unicron Trilogy? I'd love another go at those designs even though many of the original toys still hold up well.
I'd hope they finally touch base with Beast Wars II and Neo. I'd love to see their Galvatron and the other figures from line redone, like Big Convoy.
Maybe even dust off TF Victory and finally have a mainline Star Saber since out of all the lines that do Small Bots becoming integrated into Big Bots, the Prime Wars Trilogy quite literally squandered a potentially proper Powermaster Optimus on the line in Titans Return and decided to just put it to the fandom's choice alongside Primal to make another Bot inside a Bot Figure, and knowing Beast Wars' Popularity, Star Saber was NEVER going to win considering most of his namesakes outside Victory are either literal Sabers or a Heretical Psychopath.
No. We must circle back and do literally everyone in the WfC style no matter how recent their last figure was.
And then we need to go back and redo WfC guys like ER Prime with a bigger trailer so we can complain how the bigger trailer isn't worth the cost increase from the original.
ALWAYS. BE. ITERATING.
Not even close, I'm afraid. Even if you exclude JG1, we're still missing several Pretender, Action Master, Powermster, Headmaster, Targetmaster, Micromaster, and Euro G1 characters.
Pretty sure the rumors suggest 2022 is mostly a G1 and Beast Wars mix with some Armada guys sprinkled in.
Rumored list already has
Some of those may or may not be Studio series 86, but it's all Generations either way.
Looks beefier than I remember. Haven't had Galvatron project raw powerhouse energy before.
If Rodimus is getting the commander slot, then Galvatron is probably getting leader. He is quite bulky. Could he be a return to the fabled "all the price point is in the core figure?"
For the record, I don't really mind the extra stuff effect. IMHO they only felt too extra once (lookin' at you Astrotrain).
Separate names with a comma.
