I missed the battle damage in earthrise, I'm glad it's back.
My KO oversized Siege Megatron cost less and has flaps that cover the holes in his wrists along with masking his hands in tank mode.
I'm going to need the Selects Gray Toy/Comic Galvatron to be available ASAP, like when they announced Combat Hero Megatron and he was available a week or so later.
Okay, that one was good!
Is this gonna be a leader class?
I actually don't mind the siege battle damage at all. I still don't get why it seems to drive most of the fandom crazy.
It looks so good but why did they add the scratches on his chest!?
In what way was BW Megs inaccurate? And yeah, Optimus and Megs get a pass because there will always be another one. Galvatron's getting put through deep analysis (for better or for worse) because there's literally only two CHUG galvatrons currently available, and people want this figure to be "the one."
Apparently he isn't coming until 2022. I don't know if I wanna wait for him or buy the regular sunbow one when it releases this year.
Even though the battle damage paint job is distracting, but holy crap in a hat we got yourselves a Galvatron. WOO!!!!
Kingdom megs is terribly innaccurate
the only reason arm flaps aren’t included is cost reasons, bottom line. Show me a hollow forearm and I’ll show you where flaps or a slider could of fit.
That’s not what he’s arguing. He was talking about side to side bulging. But I guess it’s nice Grimlock isn’t as hollow as siege soundwave where the kit pegs right in with a hinged flap.
He looks alright, but I'm not fond of the damn battle damage. I hope it can be easily removed but some folks on here say its "printed" on and may not be easy to remove? It is strange that every G1 Megatron figure in the WfC line has had some amount of that nonsense (except the "cell shaded" one but that isn't an improvement in my eyes). I'm not sure about the Core Megatron since I haven't looked too closely at him. But they could easily do "clean" versions of this Galvatron and Siege Springer in a SS86 "sidebar" line (toss in a clean Apeface while we are at it) and make tons of sales. The only other real issue I have with this figure is the bland expression on his face. The eyes should be a bit bigger and he should have a sinister smirk on his face. It also isn't clear if he has wrist articulation or not in these images?
The yellow is a bit weird, but they seem to have been aiming for a mix between toy, show and real-world accuracy with the Dino head.
I'm hoping it's just case of whoever transformed him only giving us 80%. The things on his shoulder clearly aren't upright and like SS86 Jazz his arms might be able to lift up a little higher. Plus that thing on his back that sticks up is possibly just missing and not completely absent again. I'll tolerate the barrel chest if the mold itself isn't the same scale as TR Galvatron.
Straightened his arms out, straightened his shoulder pylons out, cut out his guns (unfortunately hands are still not visible), and moved his cannon up to his shoulder. And then overlayed it with my previous scale pics. This is what I came up with
@Phamduc does this scale look pretty close?
I mean yeah, because I'd like for Leaders to stay $50 for a while.
I'm laughing so hard pop just shot out of my nose.
That helps a ton. Those shoulder pylons being flapped down bugged me.
