Why hurt yourself this way?
I like the design. But I would have liked to have seen something like the red on his waist painted before a bunch of dirt paint. That's bad Hasbro. Also not in love with the typical Hasbro purple for this rather than the much more interesting metallic indigo.
Need to see more to be sure.
Hmmmm....right now, I'm satisfied with Titans Returns Galvatron in comparison. Better pictures down the road may change my mind.
The colours were nice, except for the gray, and the decepticon tampograph looks much better with the silver border.
I only skipped it because I was starting to dislike bigger figures, and generally disliked alot of Prime wars Trilogy stuff anyway for various other reasons.
I did get trigger-happy though, 10/10 figure.
TR Galvatron is my perfect example of one fatal flaw bringing down an otherwise good figure. That helmet ruined him for me. Of all things to screw up, I feel one that should never be messed with is a figure's head. Super Megatron is actually one of my favorites figures in my entire collection.
Can't be done. SG Galvatron has the same color scheme. And I don't want to see this new Galvatron with an Ultra Magnus or Rodimus Prime color scheme.
That might place the shoulder pylons super close to his head judging by where everything would need to rotate if that were the case. I may be wrong tho
Even with all that I think TR is way worse with stupid head gimmick, way too big cannon, extra kibble, hollow feel. This one will probably have a way better alt mode too. Will be the best Galvatron by far. Expectations here are crazy this isn't MP Galvatron
Galvatron is kingdom. where does siege fit in?
It's really disappointing to see all this talk about him being Leader sized. I was hoping he'd just be Voyager height with extra complexity and accessories to cover the "Leader" price point (like Studio Series Hot Rod), that way he'd scale perfectly with Rodimus. All the American leader characters are supposed to be the same size.
I'm just really hoping what's been seen and heard is just a bit inaccurate because this seems like a massive missed opportunity to make definitive versions of these characters and fuck it all up with the size of the figures. I thought were were past this after Titans Returns and their ridiculous oversized characters in the wrong size.
This is how they should really be lookin all together.
Yessss, the return of Battle Damage! <3
Even if they added everything people asked for to this Galvatron, they'd still find things to nitpick about.
It doesn't, but it is what the leakers have said.
Now we are talking!!!!
Galvatron looks good, but you got folks going "Howwow Pwastic? Wide chest? Battwow damage? Eww!" Like "she's not hot - her thumbs are a weird shape!"
I think they meant white and black with blue instead of orange for SG megs
Even if his shoulders can shift up, I don't see it helping the proportions too much unless his chest can compress in, possibly through the outer pieces of the chest the shoulders seem to actually be connected to, because his torso as is is wider than it is tall. Maybe they're attached to the shoulder pylons, and when those are moved into their proper place they'll bring the outer chest pieces closer into the chest to not only make him more accurate, but not look like a purple gremlin?
I hope so, it'd really help the look of the figure because that actual box chest is really unflattering imo.
I like it.
Not much more to say until actual official pics are posted.
I think they meant Shattered Glass Megatron, since that was on a toy meant to heavily homage Galvatron:
Ah yellow-eyed Prime.
One can dream.
