Out of curiosity, what aren’t you a fan of?

 

It isn't an assumption. SS86 IS kingdom, but moved to SS for the anniversary and to make room for more beast characters, and then all of the 5mm ports reduced

 

So far, it looks decent but I agree the shoulders look a little low. He looks beefy though, like a decepticon leader should. Excited to check out some reviews to get a sense of scale on him. 

But I love the TR mold a lot (customised the hell out of it) so I\'ll wait for the toy colour deco that\'s rumoured and have that figure as Galvatron II so I can display both figures! 

 

He looks bigger then most Voyagers. I could see him being Ultra Magnus height and width.

 

I would happily take that figure, it will look great next to ER/Siege Megatron, but what did he say his name was ?

 

Just the figure itself, it doesnt have that presence to it.

 

That literally looks like a polished turd. How much did it cost? My Maniaking was ok I guess and it was like $110, and last year one leg tore off raggedly at the cylinder-spinning gear. I went through phases of interest in Sovereign and Tyrant but not for $200+. It's good we have a great likeness at normal toy prices and with normal toy durability.

 

also that torso seems so squished idk man im def gonna have to see some in hand images n reviews before making up my mind on this guy n roddy bc if im getting one im getting both

Kind of metaphorical that Galvatron and Rodimus are my last figures for the year before I move out and stop collecting for a few years

 

Ooof. That is no bueno. My hopes were so high after Cyclonus. Whelp, back to dreaming about a MP Galvatron.

While true, I would say that owning Darius I wouldn't want a galvatron that just looks like an upscaled version of it, I'd want it to look different.

But then again I dislike owning two figures that look too much the same, it's why whenever they bring out a new seeker mold I only buy one version of it.

Additionally I didn't get earthrise Starscream because I already own classics/generations thrust.

Size doesn't really factor in with me, if the figures are the same physical experience I do t see the need to get more than one.

I'd hoped for a tank galvatron, considering they made Megs a tank, but it seems they've gone all "G1 accurate" for the alt mode unfortunately.

Regardless of my own collecting habits and opinions this is still a damn good mainline Galvatron, looks beautiful, also glad to see the battle damage is returning.

This guy kind of doesn't do it for me.

Aside from the head and the questionable cannon placement TR Galvatron still looks better.
