shoulder pins? facing forward? a little confused on this. apologies.

 

Apparently you can turn the shoulders around to make them sit higher on the body, but doing so makes the shoulder pins visible from the front.

I just now saw the alt mode pix and the other additional pix. I\'d imagine the stabilizer leg for cannon mode can be better positioned to not look so...right angled. Also, I prefer my arm cannon on the forearm, but I may need to mod the cannon with an additional 5mm post so it doesn\'t sit so far down on the forearm. Kinda like marvel Galvy seemed to connect at the actual barrel instead of the mount in back...

 

Yeah, the alt mode pics look fantastic. I continue to be impressed by what this toy accomplishes. Now we just need a real photo of him with both Scourge and Cyclonus. We have the group shot with Scourge, Megatron and Beast Megs that gives us a good idea of size. But I want to see him with his minions in a shot that isn't photoshopped.

As far as I'm concerned, this figure is exactly what I wanted from Kingdom Galvatron. Instant purchase.

I’m beginning to “unsee” the proportions issues. I genuinely don’t think he’s any more out of proportion in robot mode than any typical WFC figure. I wish the barrel weren’t quite so long but I definitely dig him.

 

I'm hoping stabilizer leg can adjust better. This and his robot mode feet are the only thing that is bothering me. I'll still get him

 

The stabilizer can be put in many postition thanks to both ankle tilt point and the stabilizer swing

 

Does that mean he can angle up? can his front treads tilt to compensate as well?

 

Alt mode looks awesome.

 

Hasbro didnt need to, but they even added wheels to all three legs in alt mode! He cant get any better aside from swapping purple battle damage for red on his belly and shoulder pylons

 

yes. The tread also has hinge inside and small wheel under, accomodate with the shoulder articulation , you can lower / level the cannon turret , then tilt the whole cannon with the ankle tilt and whole leg compartment

 

Now that is a decent tank... turret, artillery space gun mode.

The moment I see this bad boy in toy colors I'm gonna cave, I know it. To hell with any slight proportion issues that I'm too dumb to notice anyways.

Not ideal to my eye, but certainly acceptable.

I don't think the shoulders are all that bad. To me it looks like the size of the "pylons" is creating the illusion that they sit lower than they actually do.

 

I realized the same once I looked at the animation models. The pylons create a kind of illusion depending on the angle.

 

That image sadly shows one of the problems with Rody. I wish they had found a way to slide the car body back into the camper section. Rodimus was supposed to look like a Winnebago but here he looks more like a car towing a camper.

Actually he's supposed to be one of these. I never got why people call him a winnebago.

 

So what do we think the chest and forearms are purple plastic and not painted purple. Not gonna beat a dead horse about the battle damage.

 

They are molded purple so you are free to try rubbing off the battle damage without risk. Just watch out for that decepticon symbol, it can easily be ruined in the process
