Looks as good as it could be. Meanwhile, for those concerned about his sword color, it looks less pink and more a light lavender. Meanwhile, for his sword sticking out of his tail, it's either have that or have a weird tip of the sword color. Or have a shorter sword.

Well, it's not a Velociraptor, as Jurassic Park erroneously popularized. But it is roughly approximate to a Utahraptor.

 

Cheetor is missing his gold paint but it was really necessary to make Dinobots sword look like a dildo cause it had a pink shade in one scene.

They only make it look like this cause there probably planning a better decal as some bitch-to get exclusive like what they did with Seige Megatron.

We are getting second decals of Cheetor and Primal from the Netflix line so there is a decent chance Dinobot will get another release in a better colorsceme for the Raptor mode/Sword someway.

The news story on the front page says Kingdom Dinobot has a "more realistic" raptor mode.

Uh the only difference between this and the 1996 one is that now Dinobot has scales (or maybe they were going for pebbled skin).
Either way you slice it, for a feathered animal, that's LESS realistic

 

Love that bot mode. Probably not going to transform him more than once because the alt mode looks so silly, but $30 for a nice action figure isn't bad these days. I'm transforming my figures less and less out of fear of breaking the things. The new pictures make him look better than ever.

 

I agree. I don't think we need to be that explicit with our use of language regarding this topic, so that we can all enjoy the site and make posts within the confines/guidance of the site rules, too.

 

God these beast molds need paint. Can you imagine what a TakaraTomy unleashed could do with him? You know they are dying to make him look good.

I'd be shocked if these don't get "fixed" down the road. The molds are way too good to be completely wasted by having only 3 paint apps.

 

He also doesn't have mile-wide hips, which is a big plus.

 

He looks so good, but so many paint apps missing.

They essentially decoed the crap out of his top half, considering it more important than his lower half. They just seem to have painted his kneecaps, just because they'd look really weird with that one piece that supposed to be one solid part being half-and-half.

 

i know he had them in the show but i really hate the eyes. it looks really goofy with the semi-realistic design

 

OMG, look at all the gold detailing and striping they missed out on. By now we should come to expect retail figures with highly involved transformations to also be painted as good as the MP figures. What a load of crap. Hard pass
