ugh such a miss we could of gotten dinsaurs that are weaponizers instead we got dinosaur bones.... I am hppy they are doing beast wars and keeping up with G1 stuff mixed in but bones.... my head hurts.

Earlier this year I finally reached the point where I was ready to call my collection complete and stop buying Transformers so I could focus on other hobbies... and then the leaks for Kingdom started and I can\'t resist the desire to buy every single figure in the line. Damn my childhood nostalgia for all things Beast Wars.

 

Actually, the more i think about it, the more sense it makes. If you are bot patient enough to just lay on the ground for a long time, and you can hide your life signals, this is the perfect disguise. The one downside is that anyone can rip your parts and use as weapons.

 

Yeah but even that feels weird to me, robots running around with fleshy guns. I love my dinos, and this is weird enough that I'll grab it, but will I incorporate it into my TF figures? Doubtful. Still waiting to see what the in-universe story is.

I think I would have preferred them to use transmetal-type beast modes instead of fossils for this. It would have bridged the gap between traditional TF's and the organic beast modes, and would have made more sense as weaponizers.

Lastly, I think his robot hands are overcompensating for his dinosaur hands.

 

I really wish leakers would take the time to figure out the correct way to transform things. Even from the terrible blurry images I could tell it was mistransformed

 

That beast mode is pretty neat. But the robot mode looks like something that would have shelf-warmed during Beast Machines.

 

I figure they often don't have the instructions and just eyeball it, and clearly from Tonton they aren't exactly familiar with how each character should look.

This is so awesome! This figure is giving me a real necromancy/undead vibe and I love it. The entire Kingdom line will be mine.

 

I understand that, I just feel you could look at the terrible blurry leaks from previous weeks and just go oh this goes there like @Phamduc did

 

Good, after Rattrap, another toy I can skip with a clear conscience. This is just... really bad looking. Sure, a detailed dinosaur skeleton (but why a T-rex would be this small... a baby maybe?) but Jurassic World\'s toyline made articulated dinosaur skeletons too. The robot mode is a joke. Too thin and simple looking. If all of these fossilizer will have natural colors like this, that\'ll make for a boring robot, as well. 

 

Skeleton mode is Awesome.

Robot mode looks good in the weird BW weird way. (Hi Retrax!)

As someone stated; definitely has a Dinozaurs feel to him/her. Now I want a Gigano Dragon homage.

 

Not a terribly accurate T-rex proper. There was a whole family of Tyrannosaurids of various sizes. Besides he's a deluxe, which makes him as big as a tank!

And a cheetah.

And a spider....


Yeah the whole scale thing in Kingdom has me confuzzled.
