I dunno why they show a picture on the back of the box of this figure in a pose he can't do (arms are blocked from moving that way) and colors not nearly as vibrant as what you actually get. But whatever... Main things I wanted to do here were to fix what I'm sure most of us noticed as the cheap looking ugly parts of this one. I filled in some of the ugliest big holes in him, mostly in the inner kitty legs, did some paint work, and generally had the goal of making both modes look better rather than sacrificing either to make the other that much better. Like with my Kingdom Rattrap, I didn't try to go strictly with BW show screen accuracy. Just wanted to make my Kingdom Cheetor look nice.
Absolutely gorgeous! I think this is as close of a 1:1 translation of the CG model as you're going to get with this figure. I'm particularly fond of the brighter shade of yellow you went with, it really makes him pop.
Thank you for the before pic, it really brings home everything you did here. Great looking figure, and great to see you back!
Great job, as always. I think the picture pose/color is from photos of an earlier prototype. This figure just had more changes than most of them do
Wow that gold and metallic blue in bot mode makes a world of difference! Dont have the figure yet but is it possible to move the cheetah legs on his back up a bit in bot mode? (without affecting the transformation)
Damn, you don't realize how accurate Kingdom Cheetor really is until all the details are picked out in paint. Absolutely loving these Kingdom repaints.
Probably used miliput to fill the holes. (btw, incase you don't know, miliput is a type of modling clay that hardens in about 2-3 hours.)
This is a great custom! What paint did you use for the metallic blue parts? Also, did you do anything to the figure to prevent paint rub?
