I'm hoping for a real world time skip myself. I very much would love to see how an adult Bobby and senior citizen Hank deal with the reality of today's world.
Mike Judge in the past said if there was a revival, it would take places years later. This is so if someone (actor/actress) dies or doesn't want to come back, it'd be easier to write off.
I never really understood KOTH but I was also a child and so most of the jokes flew over my head. A new take on KOTH with the same creative vision could be quite novel and be something I could really understand besides 'Dale is insane'. He absolutely would be running his own podcast, have a shitty Geocites era style webpage, and it almost seems destined that he always wears a hat because you know exactly which hat he would be wearing these days.
