IMHO, it's less about what animal it is, than what animal it isn't---a rhino. Yet whatever animal it is, they've made it identical to a rhino (asides from the head). That's almost purely about the product, and not the real-life version.

Would you really have known that this was a bull though if you didnt already know?

Looks like a Rhino to me, which is one of the 2 reasons I have no issue. The other is that they're robotic animals, not actual animals.

I requested a megathread in the tech support forum.

And if it makes a difference, the Bull does have split hooves and the Rhino does not...so it is a little accurate :p

Absolutely agree. I'm just glad that they are making it and I can't wait for it to come out. It's interesting discussion and I can appreciate where the purists are coming from. Sometimes details are very important. Some of us can live with the more generic.

The foot, while different from the bullalo (I just made that word), doesn't look at all like a Rhino's toes to me.

It's sure not a rhino, based on overall "front to back" slope and "legs not narrower and underneath the body".

It's more bullalo than rhino. (not really either, but definitely more one than another)

Yeah, they need to beef up those rhino legs.

At an assumptive $75 each, I thinks its fair to knick pick. IF these were mass production Hasblo, than there would be a far less zoological analysis. I'm very interested in this and love MMC (CANT WAIT FOR HEX!), but at this price point expectations are raised.

    ^he said "assumptive."
    Reading is fundamental.
But this nitpick is essentially saying he wants an anatomically correct robot animal, and it's normal to expect such ... Which is insane.

Had to be a reason behind the "assumption", so I asked.

^The detail implies more than $75, but allegedly they're deluxe sized so maybe not. But the fact that its mmc makes me think $90-100. But it hasn't been announced, as you seem to know.

I didn't know, so I asked. Why are you nitpicking my posts?
