yeah, the plastic quality on MMC figures is great. Cyclops had a lot of very thin plastic with small tabs that could break if you weren't careful, but these predacons look completely different in that regard, so it shouldn't be a problem.
the revised versions of the KM01 mold had no problems with plastic, and I can't remember any complaints about the HoS seekers (aka figure of the year, according to many people) either. even they were pretty sleek in design, the opposite of these guys.

KMX and Awakening are super solid plastic wise. cyclops as well but has some flaws design wise.

Here's the thing that grabs me...

it's not that the head doesn't try to capture the LOOK of the character... it's just the WRONG character! Take a look:

Headstrong's helmet is smooth, with the tall vent at it's crest/center. Tantrum's is more squared off. Is it possible they made a mistake or that they're going to have the same heads? >___>

For someone who puts a Transformer's identity in their face and most often their 'helmet' (the body can always change) this is a little troubling...

looks like the head could be a "classics version" of either of those two.

I agree, that might be their intention... it's just that the difference itself is fairly striking - there's no 'blend' or glossing over of the design specs - especially since Tantrum's helmet is concave at the middle whereas Headstrong's is convex. The Bull head is perfect for Tantrum, just not Headstrong.

Oh, great... now that's going to bug me too.

They do look a lot alike, don't they? But I am glad they gave Tantrum the grit-teethed "angry face". Headstrong will look better with a stubborn scowl.

Considering how generic and practically interchangable both Headstrong and Tantrum's actual heads are, this bothers me little.

I think this looks great. MMC nails practically every figure they do.

A bull can be many things. Hell, a rhino can be a bull, as can a yak, kudu, moose, and a watusi. While the term "bull" is often associated with cattle, it is used just as much to typify any breeding male in a species of animals with large horns.

Cool. Now maybe differentiate the term Bison from Cape Buffalo.

you dont say:rolleyes2 :inquisiti ...i am well aware of the term bull being used for male animals..but its most common use is associated with cattle..i have many hunter friends who throw around the term bull, so i am fairly familar with the term..

if you asked around and showed a pic of a male moose and a male cow, and asked them to point to the bull... most would choose the cow..hence why tantrum looks more like a bull and not a male moose..JFC

Sorry, back to your regularly scheduled complaining and butchery of grammar and spelling that is most of the threads in this forum.
