Then again, Tantrum's proto somehow manages to look way better in real life than the render does, so we'll have to see. There's still room to make refinements.

I hope they can fix the legs (more space between them) and Not-Predaking from the upper chest up--he needs a neck and a bigger head...wonder if Razorclaw can house such a thing.

Yeah I totally know what your saying with the fanboy love for PK, he did nothing of any value in the cartoon or comics until IDW era. He had big but not actually great toys and I'll give fairly good bios.

If the rest of these set are as good as the bull then they are finally worth all the hype.

 

He's the Bobba Fett of the Transformers universe, you only need to look cool--comic book writers/artists already retroactively made him cool in story 

 

Does anyone else think predakings torso is just a shade too small? I cant figure out if it needs to be a bit taller or just bulkier but it looks a bit off to me

 

I want headstrong! He's always been my favorite of the predacons. Maybe the sixth member will be the waist, or crotch. I'm not sure. Maybe he'll be the wings on the back of predaking! But then we would need another eagle, which means another remold.

 

I'd be happier if his legs looked more like this (all I did was remove the thin section at the top of the thighs). It's a minor nitpick though & I think I can live with it after seeing how awesome Tantrum is. I'm actually perfectly happy with the rest of the combined silhouette.

 

I'm looking at the bot-mode picture, and seeing how the shoulder attaches - one thin ball/socket with another on the arm.

Given the plastic quality of Mastermind creations (feels like Megablocks - sharp, and slightly brittle) - I'd be fearful of buying this.   I was to like it, but after HOS Shockwave's nerve-wracking transformation - I'll have to pass.    

 

I'm pretty happy with how it looks so far.

 

I agree re: plastic quality. I much prefer maketoys and FP quality and to a lesser degree TFC even.

I'm not even that into predaking and I'm very tempted by this just for the look of the thing and the sculpting, not to mention the giant foot cannon.

 

Pretty amazing, I have to admit.

 

I thought everyone said MMC said GREAT plastic quality. Also Tantrum and Headstrong should have their animal legs somehow go inward into their robot legs to hide the saddlebag look especially in Preaking mode.

 

The Last Unicorn, yay! Some good memories right there, I think I wore that video tape out in the end.

 

I've only gotten Knight Morpher, which was their first figure, the plastic on it is scary enough that I'm always terrified of handling it, and it turned me off of getting any of their other projects.

Nowhere near as bad as the Xovergen Grand Patriot, but still...

 

I'm gonna go against the grain and say that MMC has good plastic quality, it just gets bogged down by tiny tabs and small slots. This figure actually looks the opposite, and depending on cost, I'll probably pick this one up.
