Very small rant since normally people don't want repaint but am I the only one weirded out that the recent Megatron figures never got a black repaint? Black repaints were all the rage back in the day! They even homaged that in Cyberverse cartoon with the alternate universe Megatron clearly being based off black repaints of old buckethead. I don't know maybe I just wish we got a black repaint of Siege/Earthrise Megatron? I think it could look quite good.

 

I remember there were people hoping that's what the second Netflix Megatron would be, instead of the exact same repaint we'd gotten before but with blue paint on the gun instead of red and slightly different battle damage.

 

I just find it annoying that Siege/Earthrise Megatron was recolored a lot and yet only two decos weren't gray. Siege Arctic G2 and the G2 Earthrise one. There are SO MANY Megatron retools and redecoes to make!

 

Hm.. I don't know, myself. Could be cool, but unlike MOTU, the proportions were turbo fucked in G1. Look at Swindle. Or Megatron. Or the Vanettes. Prime and Soundwave could pull it off, shockwave maybe, but I don't think that it could be a big thing

Forget Core/Legends class main guys and make them EVEN SMALLER!! MICROMASTER SIZED OPTIMUS, SOUNDWAVE, MEGATRON AND ALL THE OTHERS!!!

 

Moonracer, Novastar, Greenlight, & Lancer from the Chromia retool and Chromia & Nightbird from the original tooling to satisfy collectors by not reissuing the originals but still letting those who want them be able to get them at a reasonable price.

 

I’d like a box set of the main early G1 Decepticons at the Core Class scale - Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp and Combiner Wars Shockwave.

Thundercracker and Skywarp would also be available separately.

 

That was something I had been wanting too. I believe they can do it as well. Sell them in packs of two as with Micromasters, but get rid of the combined gimmick.

 

Honestly, not what I was expecting either. I was expecting a Easter recolor or something of Cyclonus, but I got that. I will agree it's a "...why?" but, I guess it could be used for shitposts. It was a mistake on my part for not being exactly clear to the digibasher.

I really expected Reverse Convoy to be released in Titanmasters. Seems like a big missed opportunity. I do hope we get a 'G2 profile' Megatron tank eventually to get these guys out.

Hard Head would have been perfect, especially since one of the heads could store in his turret....or you could retool the turret to have the head popout....

Btw I'm surprise we haven't seen a non-Pretender Bludgeon from the two recent Megatron molds. All it would need is a new chest and head. Guess Hasbro decided that Megatron molds only going to be used for a variation of Megatron himself.

 

Megatron is too stocky and static, can't get any awesome sword poses out of him (even with his massive ass sword from Siege, I've tried)
