Aslan with the Matrix?
It's like you actively WANT the franchise to die...
What's wrong with having fun with this thread? Besides with Hasbro's G1 or bust direction it'll never happen anyway so why so serious?
So, you know how we used to have minicon ports on figures, even after Armada and the Unicron Trilogy concluded, and now it's 5mm ports and pegs? And how Hasbro seems to be doing more plastic building block-based stuff for the Nezha (Sorry if I spelled that wrong) stuff? What if they made normal TF figures, which instead of 5mm pegs, had building studs, so you could build off of them? I feel like it would work with figures in the vein of Ironworks and Ariwave.
Alright, here's another idea. Titan class Fort Max, BUT he turns into the Axalon, and can be retooled into the Ark with ease!!
That's probably the neatest idea I've seen in a while. 1x2 studs on the arms for target masters, 2x2 on the chest for power masters, and let's say 2x4 across the back for further customization.
Oh snap here's a good spinoff: a studded plate that sits on the neck's joint, and you can put interchangeable faceplates around it. Kinda fixes headmasters, and the faceplates could be uniform so they can all tuck away for transformation on every figure. Don't want it getting lost? Bust out the kragle on three or so specific points and it'll be right tight like... well, glued legos.
Constructicon maximus/ Double devastator
Basically, a devastator with the main contructicons and combiner kibble for a classic, g1 devy appearence, but can join with a constructicon B- team to replace the combiner kibble. These would include
- scrapmetal- left forearm- clawed hand
-hightower- right forearm- clawed hand with grappling hooks
-Steamhammer- (bet you forgot about this guy, didn't you)? battle hammer
-Overload- mid torso (Where the chestplate is)
-Dirt boss - alternate head/ turret on double devastator
- Heavyload (acting as roft mixmaster) - a hand-held vortex grinder/ head for double devastator
While the B- team can be used individually as power-ups/ alternate weapons, merging all 12 constructions at once results in a hunched "Double devastator," like the rotf concept art. The result is the largest combiner ever, almost rivaling the larger titans. The vortex grinder also gives him limted gravitational powers, allowing him to take on omega supreme and victorion at once.
I'd like a four-pack of Diaclone recolors for Hoist and Trailbreaker.
Diaclone Lift-Ticket - red Hoist
Autobot Turbofire - blue Hoist
Autobot Electro - yellow Trailbreaker
Decepticon Roadtrap - blue Trailbreaker
All four would be identical in color scheme to the toys below; even a head remold for Electro and Roadtrap based on the 80s toy but there would not be any deviation in color scheme or additional new paint apps; not even to better resemble the characters. These would be the G1 forms of the G2 characters Turbofire and Electro so their appearance changes when becoming G2. And yes, Roadtrap would be the exact same color as Turbofire, just with Trailbreaker parts instead of Hoist parts. I can't photoshop so no digibashes from me. But here are some pics.
I'm behind the 4 pack, but I don't want unique heads for each individual deco. I want the red and blue Hoist to be straight repaints of Hoist, and the same for the Trailbreaker repaints.
Might be worth posting this over in: Generations Select Series wishlist...
Hey, speaking about Diaclone, what about the Powered Buggy Release with the Proto Ultra Magnus getting a Transformers release and an Updated Transformers Toy as a Modulator/Weaponizer?
I'm all for it. If they end up never doing it, I was planning on customizing a TR Full Tilt to fill my Powered Buggy needs.
I have it; the ultimate in over the topness. A single figure with as many gimmicks crammed in as possible. Think Microtargetheadpretendercombinertriplechanger etc
So they'll be 2 inches tall (robot mode),
Become a headmaster (that's one alt mode),
Become a target master (that's the second alt mode, completing the triple changer requirements),
have a pretender shell that's able to combine with other pretender shells of its kind, and the bot becomes the head for the pretender combiner, thus completing the combiner requirements.
But we can do more... blast effects compatible, a faction change gimmick with the rub sign, pull back motor on the wheels of the pretender shell alt mode, an LED that lights up the eyes on the head mode, a QR code that activates sounds in an app, and finally the weaponizer gimmick so you can take all of your pretender shells and make one big battle station with all of the guns!
SOMEONE MAKE THIS
Edit: the pretender shell can peg on power master style.
Fascinating! I am oddly intrigued by the prospect of such a figure. It would probably have to be at least a Commander Class figure to incorporate so many gimmicks, but I definitely want to see this.
Titan Class could do all of that no doubt.
Possible Lioconvoy redeco?
Been rewatching the G1 series on Amazon Prime and stumbled on the episode where Hound warded off Devastator with this hologram.
Did a little digging. This is Halonus Maximus, a member of the Autobot Elite Guard. We need this robot Hasbro!
A battlemaster Frenzy that is Siege Barricade colors as a homage to Movie Frenzy, then have a repaint into Rumble in Bluestreak's colors for lols and chaos.
Separate names with a comma.
