This might have been mentioned elsewhere on here, but I was thinking: what if we had Generations-style figures of the combiner teams, except they were individual figures that couldn't combine? Like for example a Stunticon group that was just a bunch of simple car-to-robot or truck-to-robot figures, without combining into Menasor?

 

There have been several instances of this in the CHUG line over the years...

But after reading this short comic, I think of a alternate toyline of toys of specific TF characters but in alternate styling will be something kinda interesting.

In this weird toyline, you can have such things like:

• TF: Prime Starscream, but in classic G1 toon styling/design
• Animated Sentinel Prime, but in Bayverse styling/design
• Bayverse Sideswipe, but in TF: Prime styling/design
• BB movie Shatter and Dropkick, but in Animated styling/design

It's a bit of a ridiculous idea, but it'll be an interesting alternative for something like if someone wants a toy of BB movie Shatter and Dropkick but didn't like the more Movieverse style design aesthetic.

 

A Soundwave figure that turns into a self-playing piano. If he was in a show, it would play the “TSCHE-CHU-CHU-CHU-TSCHE” on the piano keys as he transforms. Cassette bots turn into metal-etched music cylinders music boxes use.

Something kinda like this?

 

Combiner Wars but even more. All combiners in the same scale. All torsos and limbs interchangeable. Scramble City for the non-SC guys (Liokaizer, Road Ceaser, Devastator, et. al). Combiners from different generations (like FOC and Energon). Hammer that gimmick home. I love combiners

 

"Hi, I'm Troy McCluretron! You might remember me from Your Transformation Cog And You, That Darn Ravage, Prime's Coming Over For Dinner, and many more..."

Come to think of it, I'd dig a 6-changer whose character was an actor in cybertronian theater. Have that faction change gimmick from siege jetfire so he can play both kinds of roles.

 

You could even have him mimic certain bots.
Turns into a beast, acts like Grimlock. Turns into a jet, acts like starscream. The possibilities are endless!

 

That would be awesome.

 

Looking back at some of the original toys of off-screen characters from the previous movie toylines (Like RTS Fallback or DOTM Skyhammer) for a bit, and a random thought immediately came in mind

Consider that those toys are always the most interesting part of those previous movie toylines, I wonder what if Studio Series also came out with toys of original designs on their own with alt modes that show up in the movies (Some cool examples would be the Boeing C-17 transport plane that transports Optimus to Shanghai in ROTF or the Local Motors Rally Fighter that Cemetary Wind uses in AOE)




I know what I suggest goes against everything that the Studio Series toyline was supposed to do, and I also think it's highly unlikely for Studio Series to something like that.

 

Funny thing is both of those examples actually did get figures in their respective lines: Stratosphere in ROTF (complete with tiny Prime), and Vehicon in the gimmick lines of AoE

 

An astrotrain combiner where all his limb bots transform into train car alt modes that can connect to his own alt modes.

 

not exactly sure if this has been said, but i guess a Galaxy Force Voyager Megatron would be cool. if this has been repeated, i deeply apologise.

but what else would be cool is a leader class Nova Prime, like Ultra Magnus/Galaxy Convoy. a Nitro Convoy/Override would be cool but that's more of a siege type of style, seeing how her/his (depends which dub you follow) alt form is an alien race car or something

Every bot in Raiden transforms into an engine. Having one engine plus four cars for cargo sounds better to me because the alt modes have a reason to combine, but multiple engines without cargo is unnecessary.
