Kind of a dumb idea, but it would be cool if they made....

It could either be one designed like the classic Kenner Millennium Falcon playset or a bad azz anime accurate version.Either would do for me.

Seems there's a market for pop culture capitol ships like these two which I have.

    1. Glenn Larson Battlestar Galactica Completed 1/4000 by Monogram which is much lighter with no die-cast at all.
    2. Arcadia SDF-1 Macross DYRL Completed with die-cast 1/3000

I wonder why no JP or American company ever try doing one (Bayformer version not to be mentioned evah!)?

To fans out there, would you like it gold orangey Electrum or grey aluminum color?

I included their SRP in their image files.

I could see one that is the big Millennium Falcon sized. It could open up to the command deck with 3-5 seats and a door for the Deceptions to attack from. It would probably be around $150-$200 depending on how thin they make the plastic.

Not really. It'd be in the same place in my collection as that Cyberverse Optimus Prime w/Ark
    360px-TF-Cyberverse-Ark-Power-Optimus-Prime-Ark.jpg

Doesn't really scale with anything and not much play value for me so it'd just categorized onto the "novelty" shelf.

A backdrop or a "room" for Generations would be something I'd be more interested in.

That's going to be the next Haslab project after Unicron for only $1500.

I'd consider buying perhaps a Legends Class or Legion Class scale Ark depending on what the price is. If it was comparable to a City Bot Titan Class figure, I'd be interested for sure. But for a huge set (USS Flagg scale) that ends up on Has Lab, I'd have to pass.

For just a depiction of the ship, no. For something that opens up as a playset like that Millennium Falcon, maybe. It it was well made and interesting enough and at reasonable cost, I could go for something like that. If it's a Haslab project with a sky-high price tag though, forget it.

I always thought if it was a 3 part transforming ship. It's a ship and a playset. You take the Ark and cut into thirds. The playset part would be the pieces you see on earth but then it transforms into the front mid an rear of the ship.
Sell it in parts over time and it's not much of an issue.

I always thought it'd be cool to have one the would fit deluxes and voyagers in the seats. Also, have it transform into Omega Supreme like in Animated. His head could have been a separate tank that a figure could sit in.

Makes sense. Like the way Cog, Brunt and Sixgun were sold later from their main group (Metroplex, Fortmax and Dinoser)

Nope. It's too big for my collection, too small for my live-in needs, and does not offer any bathrooms if it was big enough. Plus I am still mad that it is 2019 and we still have not seen Unicron's head floating in space.

Monsterbots, Horrorcons, Terrorcons, whatever; with old Japanese giant monster movie-themed alternate modes. Don't know why, but I love the idea of a figure that turns into what looks like a guy in a rubber suit/a giant puppet, or something of a similar aesthetic.

Alternatively, maybe something Lovecraftian/eldritch. Feel like that could work well with a combiner, like Monstructor or Abominus. Really work the engineering and parts to make it look like they are merging into some new fleshy, rotting horror. Maybe a bit like the Spawn fusion monster?

Don't ask why, but I had this crazy idea that would be a huge middle finger to many from Hasbro: new Constructicon figures in the WFC trilogy that seem promising—all Deluxes (Long Haul would maybe be a small Voyager instead, but not C H O N K like his Combiner Wars toy) with great posability (Scrapper, for example, would actually have elbows unlike his Combiner Wars figure) and little to no greebles...but the combined Devastator mode looks like...

(skip to 2:16 for best view)
...in G1 Constructicon colors. Would you still buy that? I would.

I think there's one floating around now, a display wall for the MP collectors to pose their figures against.

Wow, by complete coincidence (I didn't see your post until after I made mine), my post in this thread is basically the exact opposite of yours!

Heh, what did you think of my Devastator idea?

BTW, the configuration would still be G1 Devastator's (Hook as the head and shoulders, Mixmaster as the left leg, etc.).
