My wife is not a member of the forum, yet. I however wanted everyone to see one of the the first customs she has done. I did most of the mod work and she did the painting. Be honest with your comments but please be nice. I copied this post for a forum we are both members on.

The piece is FOR SALE so if interested shoot me a PM.

More pics down below. Here's her bio and details.

This one-of-a-kind custom femme Transformer toy constitutes a total of around one hundred hours of work: hacking, sawing, remodeling joints, removing and replacing parts, gluing, inserting magnets, putty work and molding, painting, ink staining, and then painting once again.

"Killjoy" is 9 inches from snout to tail and 4.5 inches at the widest area around her hips when her wings are attached.

Her primary color is Plum Kiss purple, black, and highly pigmented silver. Delicate red inking in the crevices for contrast. See close up pics of painstaking detail work on the arms, legs, and back. The wings are a combination of hard plastic and trimmed tailfins from an original Seeker design. Embedded magnets hold the wings on various ways in all three modes.

“Killjoy” has been covered in a beautiful glossy layer of protective varnish to keep her paint looking great for years to come. This is a masterpiece I am pleased to offer to you for your private collection. Femmes are hard to find and so I decided to create my own.

    Biographical Facts on Killjoy:

    •Faction: Autobot
•Function & Specialties: she works under Jazz in Special Ops. She specializes in espionage and surprise strike attacks from above. Being a triple changer she is has distinct advantages.
•Weapons: tail detaches and becomes a hand-held weapon capable of stabbing and slicing through even some of the toughest Cybertronian armor. Her optic has an upgraded laser system which is Perceptor’s pride and joy.
•She is a triple changer with a bi-pedal mode, quadruped mode, and that of a flier.

Out of these three forms she feels more comfortable in her four-legged mode as this gives her the advantage of being deceptively small and weak. A powerful set of hind legs quickly sets the enemy’s processors straight- she can jump upwards of forty feet in the air. Biting faceplates and hanging on for dear life is an attack maneuver and thrill she refuses to give up.

Quote: “Think femmes can’t survive this war? Come a little closer…”

Important background information: Killjoy is Decepticon Soundwave’s creation. Her nine brothers didn’t mourn her defection to the Autobots; however Soundwave does and has only ever targeted her on the battlefield if directly assaulted first. Killjoy was directly modeled after Ravage, who she despises, and through upgrades to her features she decided to streamline her appearance by removing all her spikes and rough angular armor. Keeping her armor shiny as possible, she’s a femme and proud of it.

Likes: Blurr is her closest friend and they enjoy racing for the joy of it. Bumblebee is her second closest comrade and the two practice a game of one-upmanship in stealth which more often than not leads to prank wars when not on duty. Hound enjoys the femme’s presence during scouting expeditions or guard duty, with Killjoy perched up in a tree or other high vantage point. Her Commander, Jazz, understands her quirks and need for unpredictable adventure and so he makes sure he signs her up for the more hazardous assignments as she seems capable of turning chaos into success.

Irritated Indifference: Optimus Prime. Although Prime was glad to welcome her(and Killjoy was thankful) to the ranks when Megatron tried to murder all the femmes, Killjoy and Prime disagree on her method of killing first and expecting Ratchet to manually extract the answers from the enemies’ processors later. “Hey, they were in my way. They had to go. What did you want me to do, Prime, pat them on the head and invite them to share some energon with me?” Prime usually just sighs and confines her to the brig for a day to cool off. Killjoy’s steadfast refusal to bring back prisoners alive has put her on Prime’s radar as a possible liability, though, even with her staunch loyalty to the Autobot cause. She follows orders but can quickly become enraged enough to where her original plans are forgotten, especially if her brothers are involved in the conflict.

Dislikes: Sunstreaker. Killjoy enjoys Sideswipe’s company occasionally; however his brother’s appearance usually heralds a quick exit. Sunstreaker’s animosity stems from their mutual vanity in appearances. Barbed insults like “Looking a little rough around the whiskers, kitty” and “Bite me, Dandelion” are the norm between the two bots.

As soon as she was accepted into the Autobot ranks she asked Ratchet to upgrade her transformation sequence to include wings. While not possessing the agility or maneuverability of the Seekers, Killjoy can still surprise her enemies due to her smaller size and targeting system. Like the twins, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, she does enjoy a good game of jet judo. Usually, though, she just upsets one of them enough to force them into a wild spin and then let the twins handle them afterward as a Seeker’s larger mass is a bit too much for her to handle.

She tried to convince Ratchet to glaze her claws with electrum for added strength but the medic’s response made her turn tail and run for her life; “You’d be as loud as Demolisher trying to tip toe down a fragging hallway!! Now get out of my medbay before I trim your claws down to nubs!” Turning her attention to another possible bot to assist her with upgrades, Perceptor was her next target. The scientist was puzzled, replying, “But don’t you like the enhanced laser installed in your optic? I worked for weeks on it.” She’s not giving up, though. She knows she’ll eventually find a special upgrade which will make taking a bite out of her Decepticon brothers that much more sweet.

Killjoy’s plans is to offline her brothers one by one and then go for Soundwave himself.

Anyone interested in adding her to your collection let WarriorPriest know. Killjoy is currently sitting on one of WP's shelves, visiting with his Robot Heroes from Botcon. They're bite sized nibblets and not really much of a main course. She likes larger game but I'm scared to put her on the Seeker shelf

I love it. Killjoy has always been a name I have loved for tfs. and using that ravage mold was the right idea.

Thxs, but i don't understand "point of view on bashing" The figure it self had heavy mod work done to the insides, back, and had other mods done to it. For an example the neck was rebuilt with a ball joint that still extends like the original head. However with the ball joint it can turn any direction which allows the biped form to work. Glad you like it though. ;)

This is WP's wife, TerraScents. I finally decided to bite the bullet and make a profile here since he was nice enough to copy/paste the thread over here.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I really do appreciate it.

Darn skippy!! Yep, there are women who are painting TF's and enjoying it immensely. Once my hubby showed me that it is definitely possible to shave down the boxier shape of mechs and alter them in certain ways to look more femme, that was it for me. I decided I want to concentrate on painting femmes. That'll be my specialty. They're so hard to find!!! Hasbro puts out some pretty heinous looking femmes in my opinion. The faces are .... ugh. I'm going to try my hand at sculpting and see what I can do.

Making these wings was a confidence builder, for sure. I was terrified at putting that much work into kibble and then have it look like crap. The end result is fantastic, though. Worth the work. And yeah, I have to agree that the wings 'fill out' the flight mode better. I love how they look on her in bot mode. The back shot is sweet. Very feminine.

Especially nice that in quadruped mode she can use the wings for short distance gliding. So the wings work for her in any given situation.

Thanks!! I hope I'll be able to post some more work here soon. I'm working on a number of projects currently.

WP took me down to a game/model/paint shop here in town last weekend to pick up some stuff I needed for a custom I'm working on for him and I became enamored with a certain shade of paint... *light bulb went off in head* Idea for a new custom femme. So now I'm sitting here staring at that bottle of paint just wishing I could hurry up and finish what I'm currently working on so I can start on my new femme. Don't even have the bot in my hands yet.

You should see her paintings. She sells then for good prices. She does abstract art. Very nice. ;)

    Thanks.

*shrug* She likes purple. But because she was modeled after Ravage, getting rid of her spikes was the first thing she asked Ratchet to do. Quote, "Spikes are perfect for grabbing opponents. I think I'm going to break my brother's off slowly and painfully." So yeah.. she does have a slight Con mentality. But she wears her Autobot emblems proudly.

Oh, and WP's Starscreams daringly decided to visit her shelf. It was bad, peeps. Real bad. Not sure how many pieces I'm going to be picking up after the fact. I didn't give her any breakfast this morning.

painting looks good, story is good,
my only gripe would be the folded hands flightmode.
Not a fan of it on ROTF Ravage......would have been good to add a bit to it to make it more smooth up front.

Otherwise, well done for a first go. This might be one of those things that gets revisited after some experience is gained?

Nice! I'd been looking for a toy to make into a kitty-fembot and never thought to use ravage. I like her!
