    God I fuckin' wish. :lol

I've always wanted Fishburne to voice a TF character, but if he was an actor in one I'd be pretty stoked as well.

For some reason, when I thought of a TF for him to voice, I instantly thought Thunderclash.

I thought Laurence Fishburn was Dominique Fishbowl.

But what a treat we'd be in for if Martin Scorcese wanted to direct a Transformers movie. :lol

Just like Mr. Soto, the other solo film director. It's good to see them being excited. What worries me are the writers (Darnell Metayer and Josh Peters ) I NEVER heard of them before. And I believe they never wrote any films before.

They could be new blood, but to be fair to them even if it was a writer I recognized that wouldn't necessarily mean they'd do a good job with this movie just because they have other films under their belts, if that makes sense.

As with any other person be it actor / actress or working on the story, I'll give them a fair chance, if they're good they're good, if not then they're not.

Looks like this will be the team's first produced credit, but typically Hollywood screenwriters write more unproduced stuff in a career than not. They probably wrote something good enough to convince the producers they could do the job.

EDIT TO ADD: Also sometimes screenwriters write on movies that get produced, but they don't get credit. A screenwriter's IMDb page is often not an accurate reflection of their body of work.

Sounds like they're rewriting his draft.

Or promoting it on social media was part of the contract...

Social media is much less organic than those that profit from it would have you believe.

She's not that big or popular actress, so I don't think that's the case. She's just happy to be part of such a big project.

I think it'd be interesting from a story perspective if instead of befriending a human like Spike or Charlie, they become reluctant allies with a criminal or gang of criminals like Michael, Franklin and Trevor from GTA 5. :lol  It'd be interesting to see how they play off of each other.

Like I said, star wars made it work. I guess it doesnt resonate in your head, but I hate video games. The opening scene of the Bumblebee movie was garbage. It looked like a random scene from a "call of duty" type game full of robots. That dont work. It looks too fake. And I never realized a "Cybertron scene" would be such a tremendous fail until I actually saw it with my own eyes. It literally looked like I was watching a video game on a big screen. My eyes werent tricked. You just cant go full on CGI and believe it looks real. The humans, Earth background drops, and models help so much. They just add that level of visual reality that no stupid video game can deliver.

ummm....Tron had humans so the illusion worked. Either you have humans and real ibjects in an animated background, or animated characters in a real Earth background. Thats why its called "live action". If you take away both and have 100% animation, all you have is a cartoon or a stupid video game on a big screen

So then you're saying we should never have a movie set on Cybertron or not-Earth?

Plus the hate against games here seems exaggerated.

.. no lol. Marketing isn’t starting for at least another 8 months or so. Anthony Ramos has been hyping it up too on his insta, but not nearly as much as Dominique has. What’s the point of this comment?
Yeah it looks like they don’t have any writing credits so far, but they may have done smaller projects that have been uncredited. That happens a lot with filmmaking, but you don’t see it as frequently with blockbusters. I’m a little skeptical about it, but I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

Im ok with it. But put some humans, plastic models and Earth scenes to help trick the eyes. Make it a live action movie and not a cartoon.
As far as video games are concerned, theyre just boring AF.

The article says that the film is being written by those two based on a script already done by whoever Joby Harold is. It looks like they're just doing the final script polishing.
