The beginnings of my collection displayed on an old Book/DVD shelf. Not pictured: Primus and some Minicons and knockoffs. and a few I can't currently find.
you mean the bitter rivals, Yes-man and Batman? Their war has raged since 1998... Batman keeps threatening to turn Yes-man into a purse... EDIT: Also, hell yeah. the A-Team van is probably the best toy ever released by Jazwarez. And the EE-exclusive BTTF2 DeLorean is a perfect companion for it. I'm gonna eventually find an 1:18 scale helicopter to modify into Airwolf and buy the ERTL Joyride KITT, And last but not least will be the old ECTO-1 toy.
Rivals are right, and yours sound exceptionally bitter. Guess it comes with the territory of getting replaced even before the pilot & rarely getting recognized or addressed by their namesake alone, but who knows. Also, I think it's cool that you've got some other stuff besides TFs heading up your shrine, especially when it comes to vehicles that hold up in ways other than being iconic.
Needs more shockwave. I want a G1 Shockwave but he's too expensive ;-; And I have the same problem with Energon Shockblast. Poor Acid Storm, he's got 2 left Nullrays. And Rattrap's lost his head! but, at the very least. I play with them all and have fun. I just got the "quick change" knockoff Victory Leo and I love how his blasters can become crutches for him.
Hahah, I didn't even notice Rattrap's missing beast head until you mentioned it, let alone his legs that look to have come from someone else. I just kinda assumed you had the parts posed behind him & or that they were obstructed by the other guys, but no that I blew up the picture to full size, I can totally see it. You could always look for a cheap junker or damaged figure of him (especially if you're already buying from someone who has it), and I remember seeing people selling fucked up ones that had a good head for like 2-5 bucks. Can't exactly recall who these people were, as I pretty much ignored them after seeing that they didn't have the anniversary reissue, but if you search for "rattrap" & narrow it to like 6 months or a year, you should find em. As far as Shockwave & his counterpart, you could always look into getting a KO, but the good ones are usually expensive as well. There's allegedly a reissue coming (or at least speculated) to be coming with a new movie toy or something, so poking around the news section couldn't hurt. At least you've got the Animated ones though, and some of that Quick-Change stuff is pretty neat too. I especially like some of their insect formers, so I'll be checking the dollar stores the next time I'm there.
I really like this one! That white shelf really makes your collection pop Extra points for the time machine D
