nah, its cool. I find his posts entertaining to read
No. He's just stating his opinion on the matter at hand. I'm not saying I agree with him, but its harder to discuss things when everyone is on the same side. Its always interesting to hear the other side
Because studios and companies employees don't write on forums, right?
So what Nelson that is a Michael Bay employee is doing here then?
Being anonymous on the 'net allows employees to write anything without being identified nor obliged to tell who they are, it's something anyone working at marketing loves doing. Actually is a tactic pretty common inside companies nowadays to push products and generate hype using the 'net.
There all of chojin's posts summed up! Can we please ignore him I know feeding the trolls is fun but this is getting out of hand.
Actually, most of the reviews are in. And they just stand out way better than any of the previous 2 TF films.
BTW, telling you that your jaw will be stuck to the floor is not an insult. It just means you'll find this film extremely entertaining. That is unless you want this movie to suck.
Ah, yes. Thank you much!
agreed. i can't stand that type of trolling.
Thank You for being polite and not insulting me pretending me to shut up like many do here.
Which automatically implies that more than one hundrend members of a board that came way before Bayformers is actually hired by Paramount to sit their ass on chair and type things about Bayformers [many times NEGATIVE things] on a forum most of the public doesn't even know about.
Now read that phrase a few times and see the titanic amount of bullshit your saying.
To people saying "There's no reviews due to the embargo so it must suck!!!" are forgetting how Hollywood works.
They do embargoes on big blockbusters to try and keep them under wraps.
If a big movie SUCKS though? They don't even screen it for critics.
The fact that DOTM got screened for critics several days beforehand indicates the studio has at least some measure of confidence in the film.
Eh, he also goes around biting peoples heads off if they like Rosie better then Megan Fox. It's hard to take someone seriously when they have a history of flaming.
As someone who just skimmed each page of the thread, all I'm really gonna say is that if you expected to get an even slightly respectable review out of a morning zoo radio show then you were probably expecting way too much. You pretty much fell for the usual "bait listeners in with something interesting and don't tell them until a few hours later" trick that most shows like that do. It helps boost ratings.
I actually come here to interact with fans and have some fun. I am not an employee of Paramount. It is not required of me to come to tfw2005 and post here. I do it out of my own will. I am not anonymous and most people know where to find me.
My personal advice for everyone: do yourself a favor and go see this movie in 3D. DOTM proves that if done right, 3D is not a gimmick (Bay found out this the hard way). This movie was made, shot and designed with 3D in mind. It's just plain mind-blowing. I was one of the biggest skeptics of 3D. Now consider me a believer of 3D done right.
One last thing.
This movie makes you care.
This movie makes you believe that the Decepticons are evil and nastier and will fulfill their roles as cinematic villains.
This movie makes you want the Autobots to unleash a can of whoop-ass on the Decepticons. And dear, do they.
This movie is Michael Bay's Magnum opus (yes, I said that. Keep in mind I love 'The Rock' & 'Armageddon').
When he's 80 years old laying in the Miami sun with his grandkids, he can tell them with pride "I directed Dark of The Moon."
This visual spectacle rarely comes around in a lifetime. Hyperbolic? Yes, but you get the point.
I should probably remind people that Nelson's not technically a Michael Bay employee. He runs Bay's fansite.
Does he know things we don't? Oh, sure. But he's a Bay fan first, Transformers fan only by extension of the fact that he's a Bay fan.
Let's focus on the positives, people. He enjoyed the first two. I'm sorry to hear that you don't have high hopes for the third film, Bro-mblebee.
Check and mate. Nothing more to say.
Can't wait to see it. I've had my IMAX 3D tickets since last week - eagerly awaiting seeing it with a full house come midnight.
If I enjoy it, I'll definitely be tempted to go again after work the following day.
I actually work for Michael Bay / Bay Films.
