Does anyone else find it painfully ironic that the tease for KIDS logic shows a firearm?

its just a name brand and the meaning of the name brand is adult collectors thinking with a kids logic of collecting toys/collectables. . . clearly these items are not intended for kids at all and also are targeted towards adults anyways. so ironic? no not at all

To the uninitiated casual surfer, it would be. Can't assume everyone knows who the company targets.

No, why? Did you not have realistically looking firearms as toys? I had a Luger, a Walter PPK and a variety of Revolvers.

I am SO overly disgusted with this whole "toy guns are bad for kids" mentality...

If this does end up being a good looking P38..Ill but it just because.

I had one like this too, one of the few plastic guns. The others were die cast metal. But mine had no orange cap (as all of my guns had none). I loved it, because the guy from Tropical Heat had a similar gun :D

Since the conclusion seems to be that it will not transform, I wonder, will it be made in bot or alt mode, and will it have some die-cast parts?

Shiny! Looks promising. Just wish these figures weren't so bleedin' expensive.

That one piece looks amazing but don't they just make SD figures. If it transforms and looks like that it will be awesome.

If they found a way to make that transform into a decent Megatron figure it would have to be some witchcraft.

I think it's fine to have non transforming things.
