Ah i still happy cause my star saber has his partner now. But still i feel the first release was better. Too bad i sold him cause need of cash.

These are still on my wishlist, but I too need to watch my finances all the time. In my case it’s not necessity but more being careful not to overspend  

 

I have not made my mind up yet about getting a second one...

Haven't gotten around to putting him through the paces yet, but so far he seems pretty solid. And hey, I was able to get the legs to come down fine with out having to loosen the leg screws, so that's good. I don't actually have an MP Star Saber to pair him with yet, but I still think he looks fine on his own next to Power Baser and Delta Magnus:



Unfortunately, had some unexpected bills this month, and some other big purchases coming up, so it may be a while before I can pick up Star Saber. Do they go together well? And are the KFC hands for Star Saber recommended?

Man, that paint on Delta looks phenomenal! Yes, IMHO, Victory Leo goes extremely well with Star Saber. As far as the hands go, they work well with the upgrade sword kit, but the fingers may need a little tightening, not often, just to a standard that you prefer.

 

Cool, good to know! I guess I'll put Star Saber on things I should pick up eventually (though it looks like only the white KFC hands are available anywhere). It'll prolly be more fiscally responsible for me to wait to pick it up until next month tho, but we'll see.

One thing I've always wondered about the Victory cartoon, is it supposed to be somewhat Gundam influenced? Because Star Saber seems very reminiscent of the original Gundam, down to the similar coloring and Saber kinda being like the core fighter. And his, Victory Leo, and Deathsaurus' weapon designs wouldn't look out of place on one of those shows, their guns are very Buster-Rifle ish.

4th Party MP-24 MP24 Star Saber
Showzstore has a "no-name" Star Saber and take it from the guy who has the original and KO-they are the exact same thing. Minus the price tag.

I just got mine today. Some of my chrome rubbed off, but not enough to make me want to exchange it. I'd like to paint it, or some other repair, myself. Any tips on specific paints and/or tools?

 

I'm about to order this tonight or tomorrow. Wish me luck.
