Excited for this guy, was really hoping the bump was for some new pics. I'm curious how those very short upper legs are gonna look on the final product. If they could just lower the knee a little bit...

How about a quick digibash of robot mode done in cartoon style without much consideration for Transformation?

The source pic wasn't great especially in the face. So to make up for the source pics shortcomings I found a similar angle pic of Octane for the second version. That made me realize the nose needs to be a bit longer, the mouth a bit lower and he needs a little Energon glass with umbrella accessory.

I don't have a lot of time to work on it. I eagerly await someone else who has more time to work on a digibash or a painted prototype or model from KFC. I was curious myself what it might look like.

    No they didn't.

Octane doesn't have 4 turbines in jet mode. He has 2.
Octanes fuel truck form is not joined like UT Provider's is. He is a separate cab and fuel trailer
Octane's jet mode turbines become external side fuel tanks for his truck form. Provider's turbines all tuck below his trailer section.
Octane's truck form has 5 pairs of wheels on 5 axis. Provider's has 3.

I'm 100% with you on Provider. Perfect size, perfect quality, perfect MP look. I don't need an OS Octane holding a silly shield...

...but tits are always welcome!

Danke! That's a pretty high compliment from the namesake of said Digibash. Let's pretend I "did it all" for that reason.

I keep trying to avoid 3rd Party stuff (mostly for budgetary reasons) but stuff like this keeps drawing me in.

:thumb  Thanks! At least I am up-voted in your mind. It's the thought that counts.

All these critiques are totally valid... But still I think Provider is an amazing toy, still one of my tops of the last year. He just feels so good in hand, and looks great in all modes.

I will be curious to see if someone can do a more cartoon accurate version of Octane that also "works" as well as Provider. Either way... I love me some Provider.

Like, does it normally take this long for prototype images to come out? How long has it been now? Is it normal, especially for KFC (I'm a newbie)?

Well it takes about 2 years to make a toy like this, but we don't how long into development they showed us the toy. So going by the day they first showed us, it will be out some time between next week and September 2017.

I liked Provider and was tempted to pick it up, but couldn't get past the chuggy face. I tried to commission an artist to make a replacement head that was more MP-ish, but didn't get any takers...so Stratotanker it is.
