I hope he's at least as tall as the MP-11 seekers or DX9 Chigurh

Probably to stop the back seat designers/engineers from complaining?

I didn't know they were doing a few of those. That’s great news about Seaspray, as we sorely need a good MP version; however, it’s probably got the goofiest looking robot mode, so it might take some serious engineering to make it look both G1 accurate(ish) and a relatively anatomically correct robot… probably the toughest character to tackle. Sandstorm and Cosmos could be interesting too, but the Generations versions are pretty great, so they’re going to have to be really good to beat it. It looked like they’re doing a new version of Powerglide as well.

Yes, Sworder. I got it mixed up with Stratotanker and there was talk at one time they were doing one.

I have heard the Powerglide rumors. I have the X-1 Glider and it is a perfect G1 representation. Short of making it bigger, I would almost think they are really just reissuing it with some QC tweaks unless I see a new design. It fits in scale with their other minibots. It will be interesting to see what they do.

C'mon KFC... Ditka's virtually in the bag. Get a move on with this.

This was teased 3 weeks after Ditka, so with a bit of luck we'll see prototypes very shortly.

I hope so. I have Unique Toys Octane, but it doesn't quite hit the mark for me aesthetic wise. Really interested to see a prototype of this guy.

In theory their Junkions would be next since that has been a test shot with some (wrong) color parts. Then Blitzwing, then Octane. I haven't actually checked reveals and such, but I've gotten the impression several projects got set aside to fast track KFC's Reflector to compete with MT/FT. If that is accurate the same may be happening with Blitzwing, but there is no "competition" (Provider has been out a while) for Octane to be a competing release with so it may not be as high a priority.

EDIT: This is 100% speculation on my part.

Blitzwing is up for pre-order but I don't see the Junkions anywhere if that's a hint of what's going on with kfc. It's confusing

That's a good point. I knew that, but didn't think to equate it with this.

Settling on V2 Ditka for a Blitzwing, I'll probably do a V2 of Stratotanker for my Octane. I like the look of Stratotanker better than Provider from what I've seen, the tailfin shield was a plus in my book.

I wish they'd stop wasting my time by releasing a million teasers and blurred images and whatnot. It's good to update us with a remold, but I don't want to see this unless it actually helps me to, say, start planning an investment in this, plan a party to celebrate the release of this, or comment on the fact that this turned out to be such a terrible product that gives me the green light to go buy a model 767-200 and create a D.I.Y. Masterpiece-style Octane.

To be positive, the remold looks like the absolute best-looking mold in existence from what I actually see.

To be negative again, according to Murphy's Law, given the superiority of the QC of Provider, the general display of lousy QC by KFC, the aesthetic of this, the fact that there is not one, but that there are TWO Masterpiece-style Octanes at all, and the fact that Mr. Wings is a triple changer, there is NO WAY that this thing can have the exemplary quality possessed by Provider.
