I should have tossed an IF in there. I don't know anything for sure. But I don't have a great feeling about this.

And Eagle is a GREAT guy, I've had a fair number of conversations with him, and he's the truest sort of fan, and amazingly creative and talented. If he sanctioned these then I'm thrilled for him, if not, then this was a low low sort of move.

Ironpaw looks fantastic, but Rhinohorn just doesn't quite have the right silhouette for me. As a rhino, he's a bit too stylized.

But both look pretty amazing, really. I'll be curious to see pricing on these.

I love these molds. Eagle sold out of Steeljaw far too quickly, and he seemed pretty set on not making another run. So this is good news for a lot of folks like myself!

Eagle is Keith, so I am guessing KFClub is a new name for him :)

Oh good! Well, unless it comes out that this isn't the case, I'm on board!

I've been in agony over missing that Steeljaw.

I share your pain... I too missed the Steeljaw.

I do own the Ramhorn. I also own his Scourge, Kup and WST Metroplex

I just emailed with Eagle as well. These have his blessing, which I'm very glad to hear!

The styling on rinohorn reminds me of how ramhorn looked in Call of the Primatives

Edit: after looking at these I think I want a set to paint as decepticons for Mp soundwave. Maybe "shiv" & "shank"?

Keith Fantasy Club sounds like a strip joint. But eh, whatever. The designs look decent, but as with any third-partier, it'll depend on how well done the finished product is, as far as paint, materials, sturdiness.

That said, I'm eagerly awaiting Fans Toys' Blaster, as I doubt TakaraTomy will do one anytime soon. Hopefully, that project hasn't been cancelled. If it has, then I'd be game for the strip joint's cassettes.

Just curious, as I'm not sure if it's been clarified: Did these come painted from Eagle originally? Will these new one's come painted?

No, these didn't come painted from Eagle.

As for these new ones, I don't think it has been clarified yet if they are going to come painted or not. I'm waiting to find this out too.

I am only interested in them as their G1 sizes, not as oversized Masterpieces.

I was under the impression that the new MP cassettes were exactly the same size as G1 and so both sets of tapes could fit in to both G1 and MP Soundwave's chest? No idea whether the still scale in bot mode though?

I do not think you are correct. The Masterpiece toys are oversized.

they r oversized but soundwave's deck in particular is the exactly same size as his G1 counterpart,so the cassetes are same size as well.....thats what i heard at least :)
