Though since I've just painted the stock one I'm not sure if i'll get these.

 

I hope they come in both clear and solid, and includes the non gun hand.

 

If he does both solid lavender, and clear purple versions, I'm down.

Was Shockwave's extra hand just an animation error, or did he really have a hand all those millions of years ago and decided to replace it with a laser tip? I've always wondered.

My personal headcanon is that he can retract the laser into his arm and use the hand when he wants to, but doesn't do it often

It looks like this is finalized color of the KFC hands set for MP29 Masterpiece Shockwave:




As you can see they do not match the color of the stock hands shown below. They will match the forearm color instead.


I hope I'm wrong here but in case I'm not does anyone recommend a paint brand and color that will do the trick?? I thinking a spray would be in order.

In answer to your question, a good match to the lilac colour that I have personally used is the Montana White Lilac.

 

Thanks for the recommendation. Maybe lighting is the problem.Who knows for sure yet. I'll be receiving mine later this week and post and update once I do. Does this paint give a nice glossy finish? or should I spray a coat of clear gloss after the paint?

I got them. They are the same darker purple color as his forearms/main body. KFC dropped the ball. Might have to spray paint it as Ruizu1990 suggested.

I'm waiting for Dirge's hands as well. I need them for my YM Dirge. Fans Style made hands for the Datsuns.

 

Well that's disappointing. Not even accurate to anything as far as I know. I'm not keen on painting joints so small, guess I'll just wait and hope they do a future run in the proper colours.
