This is such a great year for Transformers as a whole imho.

Between MP Primal, the (albeit lackluster imo) BW 20th anniversary, TWO 3P MP Blitzwings (we're finally seeing companies do more triple changers which is GREAT and bodes well for the future imo,) THREE (1 official, 2 3P) Infernos, Hasbro churning out headmasters and other later G1 stuff, as well as - if today's leak is accurate - at least one G2 and Japanese G1 character, a new Powermaster Prime, three (1 official 2 3P) MP style Shockwaves on sale at the SAME TIME, multiple MP Ironhide and Ratchet offerings both official and 3P, and while not strictly Transformers of course, fricking GOBOTS (well, Machine Robo) highly articulated die cast figures!?

I am so happy and excited right now lol.   All I need is more Beast Wars. (Dear third party companies... a great niche is waiting for the first one of you to corner that market... just saying!  )

The feet on him look kinda weird. Were his feet really like that on the G1 cartoon?

 

He looks exactly how he is supposed to look,not some bulked up monster.Love it,if qc is good im definitely getting it

(googling G1 Blitzwing just reminded me again how often people forget his tailplanes---actually finding one properly transformed is kinda rare----to the point that the "WST" one doesn't even HAVE any)

 

I do prefer the DX9 Blitzwing but I actually think Ditka may pair better with Chigurh, as they both have a more square, cubical feel to them. Gewalt seems so much more bulky than Chigurh that I honestly don't think they'd pair well.

I'll be going Gewalt as I like the big bruiser look for the triple changers, and feel Chigurh is too skinny for me.
But Ditka is looking a lot better in prototype form than the early renders.

 

So what's its gimmick? Disintegrating legs? Head that splits in two? Shoulders that hurt? Or perhaps that barrel is made from toothpicks?

 

Right now, it's an invisible tank barrel.
