Im more of a Apeface fan but damn Snapdragon looks great in all 3 modes! And these guys are coming in May and June so sooon?....loorrrdddd my pockets are hurting deeply with all these orders lol...so much good stuff coming in June.

If Venksta or someone else fixes the face sculpts on these guys, then I'm in. Other than than that, these figures look amazing!

 

Leader class Horricons work form me. I hoped we get recolors as Beast Wars Optimus and Megatron.

 

In the sake of not derailing this thread, I'll keep it short, from what I've seen of their figures in the past, reviewers and board members, I'm not ready to drop or gamble a £100 plus on them. It's a hobby and not some addiction or end of the world type scenario where I absolutely need it, so I'm comfortable to wait.....for only glowing reviews from reliable sources or wait until someone else to tackles them.

 

Uuugh Snapdragon looks good, but man apeface looks BUSTED!Maketoys is already doing apeface, and I PRAY Fanstoys is off licking their chops like, wait till they get a load of what I'm sitting on!

 

Hm. I might get the Snapdragon. Going to wait and see what Maketoys is doing Apeface-wise, though.

 

Cool, I hope these come out around the same time that the Fansproject versions do so I can look at reviews and compare. I would like one version of Snapdragon and Apeface in my collection.

 

The color of both are confirmed, but only the pink not right (cone of apeface) it will be darker close to g1 cartoon .

Octane moving along smoothly , will put it test shot first view at May too.

Was bloody over the moon when I saw the pics and knew for certain that I wouldn't be without an MP Apeface and Snapdragon (relying on MT was and is very chancy, IMO).

Jet modes look good; beast modes are pretty decent too except for SD's arms, and the all-important bot modes are quite alright. BUT - not gonna lie - the bot faces aren't the best, especially Apeface's. That one could really use a lot of work - the Titans Return titanmaster would be an excellent template. So I'm happy that there's gonna be decent MP Horrorcons but a bit bummed that there's likely no room for feedback that might lead to improvements.

 

Love these and the reveal. Can't wait to get them.

Way to go on the surprise, waiting for 8 months sux, and i like the look of your Apeface. But to be honest, i wish the surprise was Arcee / Elita 1 instead. Dont be shy to surprise us with one of those next for July / August...  .

That said, if you get that quality good again on Apeface / Snapdragon (vs blitzwing), you will do very good, first on the market with very solid offerings. Good job.

 

I would say yes, someone else will do it... I think 3P companies all have the same motto.

"hey, us too!"

There's usually 2 or 3 companies that release any given figure at a time.

There was a run of Cosmos, Trailbreakers, Blitzwings, and Seasprays just in the last year... everyone had to show "hey, us too", when someone released one.

 

The robot modes look awesome. The jet modes look awesome. But the beast modes look like piles of shit. But they kind of look like piles of shit in a good way. They definitely look like cheap monster movie monsters. Which I guess is fitting since they're the Horrorcons. If these came out a few years ago, I'd be all over them. But with my current ongoing collection purification, these have no place in it.

And even if they did Optimus Primal and Megatron repaints, they'd be an easy pass. Nothing about these is evocative of those characters other they transform into a "gorilla" and "dinosaur"/"dragon" thing.
