Hamburg Walmart has 2 g2 mirage and 2 jazz and lazerwave in the clearance section marked to $18. Funds are tight so I had to pass. Couple boxes were mangled.

I just want to say to all my fellow plastic addicts, happy thanksgiving, and I hope that you are all able to be around family this year.

And for those who are annoyed by family, you still have friends here.

    Now carve the gobbletron!

Turned out great again. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and good luck to any of you daring the shopping afterwards, I’m sitting out on that.

Burlington Newport had a few RED Optimi and those giant Cyberverse Optimus Prime and Hot Rod

Ross Newport had RED Megatron, Optimus, and Soundwave, two Shadowstrips and a Crasher, and many of the Walmart legacy beast figures.

Newport Cititrends had a Legacy Soundwave and a couple of Jhiaxus

Florence Ollie’s had a bunch of Beast Wars Terrorsaurs and Tigatrons.

Florence Ross had two BB Kups, a Shadowstrip, a Skullgrin, and a core class Shockwave.

Florence Burlington had many of those large Cyberverse Optimi, Hot Rod, and Bumblebee. I bought the Thunderhowl. They also had three Coronation Starscreams for $19.99.

Man, that's way too much for a crossover and a lot of presentation.

I bought one at another store and I’m returning it. The proportions feel so off

Walmart.com, that's what I am basing the DeLorean price off of.

This new thing of $45 is silly.

I'm not certain what you're trying to defend at this point. MSRP for Gigawatt was thirty dollars. That was the baseline model offered through Amazon and the like. Looking at my order through Amazon, I paid $29.99 according to my order history. I don't recall what the limited edition hype one was at release but I didn't care because I knew more were being made.

Anything that happened after that is nonsensical to offer as a counterpoint trying to compare it to the newest offering. I could also cite listings ranging from $70 to $500 but those are aftermarket apples to the MSRP oranges. If anything, you would have been better off trying to convince me that Ectotron at $50 was also "too much".

It appears that you are trying to argue with me, worse with invalid information. So now I have to ask, "why?" Especially when you seem to agree in the next sentence that it is overpriced? Is it that I find $45 for the figure to be silly as an asking price? Is it entirely the use of the word "silly"? Did you buy it $45 and feel my use of the word "silly" was a slight at you? If so, understand that I genuinely don't care what you're spending your money on. That's your business. Presumably, you're a reasonable adult with disposable income, you do what you want with it so long as your true priorities are attended to.

Are you trying to point out that it's nothing new as if that's a concept that has escaped my understanding of the crossovers? Because I haven't bought any of the crossovers since Ectotron for the same reasoning. And, please, before you get upset, remember, you're the one who responded to my very open and not directed at anyone opinion. It's not my fault that you have failed to provide a reasonable explanation for whatever point you were trying to get across by making a comparison that isn't landing. And I'm not trying to be angry or mean or even cynical at this point, I just don't understand what you're saying by offering the initial response or the bad example of "well, here's the price now".

Yeah, I think there was a significant breakdown in communication. More so because of the random screenshot of invalid information. And that's why I wanted further clarification.

Typically, I do enough research to validate my own comments even I don't openly share citations. Not only did I have my own order history through Amazon but also any number of announcement articles to fall back on typing, "transformers delorean MSRP" into the Googles. I even went so far the second time as to add "TFW2005" to the search to get the original article from here. None of which were producing anything remotely close to the aftermarket pricing you offered as a counterpoint. The the TFW links to WalMart did go back to the same listings you referenced.

As for WalMart's pricing, this screenshot tells it better than I can:

Clarksville Target across the river from Louisville just put a couple Shrapnels up on the peg, and some Dark Leos as well. Their walmart is awash with Toxitron figs, though.
