G1 reissues at Walmart in Winchester. 4 Hot Rods, 4 Starscreams, 3 Devastators. Packaging on the Devastators is fairly beat up.
Looks like the case got wet. When they pulled it out, the package stuck to the inside of the cardboard.
Plot twist: that's not a reissue, it's a legit G1 Devastator that's been lost in the stockroom for 33 years.
I just checked the Cold Spring/Alexandria Meijer and the Newport Target...nothing special at either. They do both have the new TMNT sewer play set, though. It appears to be huge.
I couldn't make it out there Friday. Hopefully still in on Sunday afternoon. I want a VW Bee and Shadow Raider. Has anyone started seeing Wreck Gar yet in Walgreens? Its been a few weeks since I have checked.
I have seen collectors destroy boxes before to prevent others from buying something they want. Hopefully that wasn't the case here. I saw Starscream ar Frankfort. I wasn't overwhelmed with nostalgia. How long until we see one of the Big Lots KOs repacked into one of the Devastator boxes?
On a side note, but since we were talking about Nascar diecasts earlier and this is KY and eBay related. I live in Georgetown. I bought a diecast from a guy on eBay, and it turns out he's in Frankfort. He mails it out Thursday. Should've been here Friday. Nope.
