Alright, time to decide where were going to do this. Poll closes Saturday night at Midnight, give or take.

The Meetup will be held the afternoon of October 2nd, 2010. You may pick just ONE location.

We also need to figure out WHEN we start so everyone can plan to be there. I am not going to try and hold votes for the time variable. Please, when you vote, reply to this thread stating when you can make it in the afternoon. Morning is out because multiple people have already expressed they can't make it.

Keep in mind the hours each location is available to us, but I don't see either of them being a problem on that front.

My inclination, offhand. is to name either 2PM or 3PM as the start time for this shindig. Pending ya'll's input, of course.

I voted for Comic Book World purely based on proximity. I'm down with Rusty Scabbard if the vote ends up going that way.:thumb

I'm not sure if I should vote, seeing as how my opinion is a bit biased lol. I'm sure Comic Book World will win out. If it comes to a tie, let me know.

Although I'm closer to Lexington, it would have been selfish of me to vote that. I like the alternating locations idea, and since the last one was in Lexington, it's only fair this one be in Louisville.

I voted for Comic Book World for two reasons: The owner is a nerd like all of us, and it's literally two blocks from my house. So, Sidecutter's Decepti-van and my monster Decepti-truck will be in the same place for the first time when we're not heading to a con.

I also vote for afternoon. 2 or three should be fine even if i have to work (which I'm hoping I won't).

Being here in O'boro, I gotta drive either way, but voted and prefer the "VILLE". I don't work on weekends so will be in town early to hit some thrift stores & great escape. I don't think the poll will run to friday. Looks like 7 out of us want Louisville already.

Check out my wanted parts list in the junkion exchange. I have a larger list of things I want, but that is what I am looking to complete.

Doesn't anyone have a junker ratchet???????

Excessive bumping may lead to a leaky crankshaft.

Don't forget fluid leaks, and depending on where you bump, possible clogs.

Crap, Not that my vote would count but I would rather NOT have it at Comic Book World, Paul and I do not see Eye to Eye.....
Will have to check but that may be the deal breaker for me.....:(

Honestly can't promise anything in the hefty department unless we continue to see enough interest to try and build it a little bit. It's a bit of a drive for you isn;t it? About 8 hours to Louisville, and the same or more to Lexington, Owensboro, etc, right?

To Lexington: 5 hours and 26 minutes
To Owensburo: 4 hours and 5 minutes
To Louisville: 4 hours and 44 minutes

I'd personally try an do Owensburro since it's closer. But if I went to a Kentucky meetup I'd want one of those
things where people get all the toys and trade and stuff, and then eat. Then the customizing class would be great :)

The customizing class won't be this meetup. Too soon. I need more time to plan. It would be an all day thing anyway. Not much time for anything else.
