Looks good...better than the v1. I think they were inspired by the MMC/OX Remix versions.
what are the official names of the cassettes that come with twincast? not what KFC is calling them
Not sure if Twincast is different than Blaster but the bots are Eject and Rewind and the lion is Steeljaw and the rhino is Ramhorn.
Not sure if that helped?
KFC Twincast comes with a pink Eject/Rewind known as "Rosanna"Rosanna (KP) - Transformers Wiki but I have no idea of the official name of the blue scorpion if there is anything in cannon for it.
Boy my answer was way off LOL!
Actually there KINDA is. Stinger was actually based on, well, Stinger! Stinger in reality actually was a scrapped Autobot cassette set for it’s first appearance in the movie.
I honestly never thought I would get the chance to own this figure the price was out of my range 1st time round plus the metallic colours although I did think looked nice wouldn't of worked for me in the long run.
I watched countless reviews on YouTube everytime I was in the position to get him (more times than a few!) But only now with him being available in his pure red colours at the price point I went for it. After reading most of this thread preparing me for the number of QC issues mine might of come with I braced myself for the package.
When he arrived he was sealed up with Keith's signature stamp (kidult made me laugh) well packed massive box everything seemed in order nothing broken or missing, I was hoping for Soundwaves optional hands but understand some version very with the contents so not too fussed about that. The plastic quality was okish compared to some of my recent purchases but the biggest problem was the overall floppyness of the figure so it was a struggle to get him into anymore poses apart from what you see in the pictures below. My best and still favourite Blaster besides my original G1 is Mech fan toys ko of magic square version. His joints are all tight, plastic is tough and durable, posabilty is everything you could want, if that version was upscaled to masterpiece with a few details added I think most people would be very happy with that as there mp Blaster.
I get why KFC Blaster has such a big sticky out back with the multi tape gimmic but personally have no need for it would prefer a nice sleek back like mft Blaster
Question guys will some floor polish fix his floppy joints ? He just seems too big a figure and top heavy for floor polish trick to be effective on the legs joints. Already tryed tightening the screws.
Congrats! and yes, future that bad boy up! Mine are older, and while they do stay in place, they don't feel super tight.
For anyone new to the figure: -
I felt that way when I bought the SG version. Felt like picking up feathers. Felt like holding a hollow 20 dollar figure.....Definitely not worth MSRP IMO. I sold him on. I do see it being listed NEW for half of what I paid for at release.... The Double Whammy.
Id buy a red one for 50-60 bucks.
I still got mine. He is good enough for a background display character but if you look at him too close and especially handle him you can see/feel he just doesn't cut it.
