I would totally get the red Transistor if the extra head was more Marvel..

 

I would have like to see Transistor, Doubledeck, and SG Transistor come with some different optional facial expressions like the other 3P companies and even Takara are now doing.

 

Does anyone think the pricing will drop on the reissue since TT dropped a hint through a cassette mold that Blaster is coming? I felt for a while that they have elected to combat 3p by doing undisclosed runs in anticipation if 3p reissues etc.

 

Err, I said it was going for ~$50 at the time. I never said it was a Buy It Now. And given his condition and the 2 cassettes included, even the $71 he's currently at is an excellent price!

 

That is a good price and if I didn't already own the metallic red, twincast and shattered glass editions I'd probably take a punt.

 

I am going to wait for the fire sale when TT reveals the official Blaster.

 

And then its my time to get a transistor

Okay, I looked all over the interwebs for a Transister (metallica red version) and low and behold, I found one on Chimungmung.

This will be my very first ever purchase from there.

Here's to hoping it shows up quickly. Chimungmung uses some strange shipping service I've never heard of, so I'm a bit nervous.

I wish KFC used a metallic red flake plastic so it better matched MP Soundwave in terms of Aesthetic (versus the paint) but, what can ya do.  

On another but similar note, I was going to do the eBay route for Transister, but meh, I refuse to bid. It's "Buy It Now", or nuthin' for me.  

 

OH fuck! just noticed BBTS has a nnice huge sale on the Transister recolor that comes w. 2 tapes. w00t!

Get it from Robottoybase. Its the same site for all intents and purposes. It might even have a lower price there. The same guy operates both. Tony is responsive and fast. I have good experiences with him.

 

I have their recent rerelease of KFC steeljaw, the QC issues are not as bad as before. His paws easily stay in one position unless you move them. He's not as flemsy as before so I'm really happy with that because I was afraid of it as well! I'm not confident in this rerelease for transistor because of this reason.

 

Keep in mind that there is less room for leg movement on the metallic version due to the fact that the hip skirt doesn't move.

Meh. Ben's review shows plenty of leg articulation. so I doubt I have anything to worry about. it moves enough for what I need him for.  

 

IT appears so. this vid was made back in December of 2015. It shows the new flaps, new metallic grey buttons and other stuff. I am mainly after the metallic version simply because it matches Soundwave better to me. If they had given the plain matte red version a metallic red flake in the plastic like how soundwave's is metallic blue flake, I would have been all over this version instead.

 

Metal Flake like this is what I mean btw. If this toy had a finish like this?!? maaaaaaaaaaaan, I'd be in love. it's just so eye catching to me.

 

I wouldnt be surprising now that I think of it. I have seen a vs video of those three and the review said that each new itteration also felt better than the rest even in its plastics. Didnt spot the difference in the flaps (or I missed it) though. Good to know.
