Yeah, this mold is nice. I have "metallic" blaster and twincast is on the way.

I'm really surprised Takara hasn't released one, they already have the mold with soundwave.

I figured that might do the trick.

I'm kinda surprised there's no MP Blaster wars across 3P and Takara.

Why bother when we already have perfection?

This really did put KFC on the map for Masterpiece

I don't see where we'd get anything much better than Transistor either. Not quite perfection but pretty dang good IMHO. Mine is anyway. :)

I'm surprised people still think that a MP Blaster will be a remould of MP Soundwave.

They share absolutely nothing, save for both transforming (in a completely different way) from a blocky robot with a cassette door on their chest in to a angular music based altmode.

Oh idk about that. The basic transformation is about the same. Not really any other way to do it (like shockwave) they both do the splits and fold their legs around, arms fold back, head goes back into the backpack.
Transistor does it better though imo ^_^ The forearms, shins and backpack are very clever imo.

This dude was my first 3P MP product, and I've been hooked ever since.

I have the original metallic version and its held up very well over the years. I still love posing and transforming him, not to mention how well he compliments Soundwave.

It's strange how light weight he feels these days compared to newer 3p products.

Still, an almost perfect MP Blaster for my money.

They do indeed both do the splits, but Soundwave rotates his legs and Blaster does not.
And while Soundwave brings his arms to the back, Blaster his arms remain at his side.

Seems minor, but the end result is a completely different alt/robotmode that can't be accomlished by a simple remould. The structural core of the figures needs to be changed

I would hazard a quess that Twincast was not such a hit on the west and all things considered what he offers is a bit less than Blaster and the SG version.

Then good for them. I've already scratched this itch, though.
